The Director of Communications, Americas role will work closely with the Head of Communications, Americas to build and execute an efficient, impactful storytelling program. The right individual is a motivated self-starter who owns projects from idea to outcome. They're a fast learner who isn't afraid to try, build and iterate, adapting quickly for success. They're an overcommunciator with an outstanding media network and a knack not just to shape news, but to uncover what you need internally to get those stories out the door. They're a senior PR practitioner who hasn't strayed too far from the actual work into management. Most importantly: They're excited to be part of a rapidly-growing company at the exact time when its industry turns important corners.

- Drive T1 and T2 coverage across business, financial, and crypto media
- Collaborate with marketing, product, legal, compliance, and global comms counterparts to create news moments
- Ideate, create and execute communications programs that power earned, owned, and social outcomes
- Own reactive and proactive media strategy for U.S. and Americas; manage day-to-day journalist relationships
- Lead press strategy and drafting for major GTMs: institutional partnerships, product launches, regulatory milestones
- Contribute to global comms initiatives and provide U.S. amplification where needed
- Stay ahead of the regulatory, market, and competitive environment to develop reactive hooks and timely pitches
- Ensure brand consistency and message discipline across all comms touchpoints
- 12–15 years in PR and communications, with experience in financial services, fintech, or technology — crypto experience strongly preferred
- Proven track record generating business and financial press coverage at volume; Experience with investment communications, valuation announcements, and partnership press
- Deep media contacts across business, crypto trade, financial, and broadcast — not just crypto-native outlets
- Agency experience a strong plus
- IPO experience a strong plus
- An entrepreneurial attitude, strong editorial judgment, and a bias toward action
- Bachelor's degree in communications, journalism, marketing, or related field
- Fluency in English required; Spanish or Portuguese a plus for Americas scope

- The salary range for this position is $200,000 - $300,000
- The salary offered depends on a variety of factors, including job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and market location. In addition to the salary, a performance bonus and long-term incentives may be provided as part of the compensation package, as well as a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits, dependent on the position offered.
