Position Summary:

Reporting to the Sr. Director of Finance, this position will lead all aspects of Divisional commercial finance analytics, data science and FP&A for the Laboratory Chemicals Division (LCD). This includes driving the financial performance of the business by providing financial insights and analysis, recommendations. will support strategic decision-making, and providing strong business partnership to the Divisional Leadership Team. This role will involve collaborating closely with various teams, including sales, marketing, sales operations, Group FP&A and Divisional leadership. This will ensure accurate and timely reporting aligned with financial goals and strategic objectives. Additionally, the role will leverage data analytics to improve financial planning, forecasting, and reporting processes. The ideal candidate has a strong background in finance, excellent analytical skills, and a consistent record of effectively presenting complex financial information

  • Lead analytical aspects of divisional bookings and revenue processes across LCD. Analyze financial data and provide insights to senior management regarding business trends, financial performance, and potential areas for improvement.
  • Collaborate with Group and Corporate FP&A, as well as the Divisional Leadership team. This is to improve reporting mechanisms such as QBR/MBR, AOP, STRAP, Revenue & EBITA Flashes, and Monthly Outlook.
  • Provide FP&A support by monitoring and analyzing financials, including P&L, Measured Cash Flow, FX, and Headcount.
  • Establish a strong Finance business partnership with the Divisional President, LCD DLT members, and Divisional Functional partners. You are supporting detailed monthly, quarterly, and planning processes.
  • Construct and run financial models for forecasting and proactive actionable analytics to drive the business.
  • Prepare and present weekly, monthly, and quarterly reviews to key collaborators.
  • Drive the AOP planning process for LCD, collaborating with Commercial leaders, Marketing, and Sales Operations teams.
  • Champion ad-hoc projects and finance transformation initiatives to improve financial processes and drive efficiency.
  • Prioritize delivering critical growth strategies, process automation, enable proactive analytics, data visualization, and drive strategic discussions.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelors degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field is required; an MBA or equivalent experience is preferred.
  • 10+ years of progressive finance experience with modeling and forecasting activities.
  • Consistent track record of delivering outstanding results through an impactful team and achieving results beyond the finance function.
  • Outstanding leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Outstanding analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills, with the ability to interpret complex financial data.
  • Strong systems and data analytic capabilities including HFM, Power BI/Tableau, SQL, and SFDC.
