We are seeking a high-impact, high-velocity Director of Business Transformation to join the Legal Professionals Transformation Office and lead a critical pillar within our Growth Transformation Program—a multi-year transformation program designed to accelerate growth and modernize how we operate and serve customers—across our entire Legal Professional business.
This role is ideal for a strategic operator and agile program leader who thrives in complex, fast-moving environments. You’ll be responsible for driving the strategy, planning, and execution of high-priority initiatives in collaboration with cross-functional teams. This is a high-visibility role with direct exposure to senior leaders and a unique opportunity to help shape the future state of our business.
About the Role
In this role as Director, Business Transformation, you will
Lead the strategy, structure, and delivery of transformational initiatives aligned to the prgram's strategic objectives
Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders to define success metrics, operational plans, and key milestones
Facilitate workshops and discovery sessions to identify current-state pain points, design future-state solutions, and guide decision-making
Translate strategy into actionable implementation roadmaps; manage risks, interdependencies, and resourcing across workstreams
Champion agile ways of working, fostering a test-and-learn mindset and continuous improvement across teams
Partner with functions such as Operations and Technology, Commercial Excellence, Data and Analytics, Sales, Product, Marketing, Customer Success to ensure alignment and execution
Develop and deliver executive-level communications, including status updates, SteerCo materials, and outcome reporting
Coordinate change management and communication strategies with Change Lead to support adoption and sustainment of new processes and models
About You
You're a fit for the Director, Business Transformation role if your background includes
5+ years of experience in business transformation, program delivery, strategy execution, or operational leadership—ideally in SaaS or B2B enterprise environments
Proven track record of leading complex, cross-functional initiatives that deliver measurable business impact
Strong working knowledge of systems, operations, or technical architecture is a plus—especially experience navigating cross-functional dependencies between platforms, data flows, and enterprise tools
Strong strategic thinking skills with the ability to connect high-level objectives to day-to-day execution
Experience applying agile frameworks (e.g., scrum, Kanban, lean, OKRs) to drive clarity, speed, and value delivery
Outstanding facilitation and collaboration skills, including the ability to align diverse stakeholders and navigate ambiguity
Executive presence and strong communication skills, both written and verbal
Comfortable operating in a matrixed organization with evolving priorities and limited structure
Familiarity with transformation technologies and platforms such as Salesforce, Gainsight, Gong, or agile collaboration tools (e.g., Miro, MS Planner, Teams) is highly desired
Background in customer experience, GTM strategy, organizational design, or operational excellence is a plus
MBA or other advanced degree is an asset
