Opportunity for Impact

We are seeking a dynamic, action-oriented Director of Business Operations to lead scalability and excellence of Mantra Health service delivery. This role requires a strategic leader who can partner with the COO to balance trade-offs between care quality, patient experience, and operational excellence to drive growth and expand margins. This opportunity is ideal for someone who excels at operational improvement, business strategy and working across departments to effect change. Reporting directly to the COO, the Director of Business Operations requires solid experience in technology-enabled healthcare companies, including deep experience with business operations, ideally in start-up or private equity environments.

What You’ll Do

  • Efficiently scale a multi-disciplinary service delivery model that balances competing priorities across care quality, operational excellence and customer satisfaction to ensure alignment with company goals and client needs.
  • Provide oversight for business operations, including processes and KPIs that directly impact service delivery. Example KPIs might include time to care, provider utilization and ticket response time.  Balance organizational priorities and collaborate with cross-functional leaders to solve operational challenges and enhance client experiences.
  • Utilize a data-driven approach to proactively identify and address operational inefficiencies, while developing scalable processes that support the growth and increasing complexity of our care delivery model.
  • Contribute to evaluating external technologies and the development of internal capabilities, and lead change management within the company to implement solutions.
  • Serve as a strategic partner to the COO and leadership team, leading the evaluation, development and launch of new service lines to support organizational growth.

Who You Are

  • 10+ years of work experience in a mixture of clinical and business operations, consulting and digital healthcare. Startup experience preferred
  • 3-5 years in management consulting with an aptitude for business strategy
  • Strong informal leadership skills with the ability to navigate complex, matrixed environments, align competing priorities with business goals, and drive cross-functional change management initiatives.
  • Data-driven decision-making, utilizing analytics to optimize processes, improve efficiency, and make continuous operational improvements across all departments.
  • Excellent organizational skills and ability to manage long term, organization wide projects.
  • A disciplined, resource-conscious mindset with an emphasis on thoughtful spending and efficiency.
  • Experience with mental health services or outpatient therapy and / or psychiatry is a plus.
  • Deep commitment to improving access to mental healthcare and driving meaningful impact for young adults

Why Choose Mantra

  • Opportunity to lead and shape the operational backbone of a mission-driven organization.
  • Collaborate with a passionate, dedicated, and innovative team focused on transforming mental healthcare.
  • Competitive salary and benefits package, with the chance to make a meaningful impact on the lives of young adults.
