About the role:

Branch is seeking an experienced and strategic Director of B2C Marketing to lead our customer and end-userfacing marketing efforts. This individual will be responsible for developing and executing a comprehensive marketing strategy that drives end-user acquisition, engagement, and retention. The ideal candidate is a hands-on leader with a proven track record of building and managing high-performing marketing teams and delivering measurable results in a fast-paced, B2C environment.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Strategic Planning: Develop and implement a holistic B2C marketing strategy aligned with company goals, including brand awareness, customer acquisition, and revenue growth.
  • Team Leadership: Lead, mentor, and grow a team of marketing professionals, fostering a culture of collaboration, innovation, and performance.
  • Customer Acquisition: Oversee all end-user acquisition channels, including but not limited to:
    • Collaborative co-marketing at time of customer launches
    • Email and SMS 
    • In-app notifications
    • Paid media (social, influencers, etc)
    • Affiliates or partnerships
  • Brand Management: Act as a brand steward, ensuring all B2C marketing communications are consistent with the company's voice, values, and visual identity.
  • Co-Marketing: Understand client objectives, craft value propositions and messaging frameworks,  develop co-marketing campaigns, and flawlessly execute campaigns in partnership with the customer to drive worker sign-ups.
  • Customer Lifecycle & Retention: Develop and manage a lifecycle marketing strategy, including loyalty programs, re-engagement campaigns, and personalized communications to increase end-user lifetime value (LTV).
  • Budget Management: Own and manage the B2C marketing budget, allocating resources effectively to maximize ROI and achieve key performance indicators (KPIs).
  • Analytics & Reporting: Establish and monitor key metrics, providing regular reports on marketing performance to the leadership team. Use data and insights to optimize campaigns and inform future strategies.
  • Market & Competitive Analysis: Stay informed about industry trends, consumer behavior, and competitor activities to identify new opportunities and maintain a competitive edge.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner closely with Product, Data,, Professional Services, and Support teams to ensure a seamless and positive customer an end-user experience from initial contact through post-purchase support.

Qualifications:

  • 8+ years of experience leading the development of customized marketing campaigns 
  • Experience working with creative teams to develop concepts and campaigns 
  • Well-rounded experience with marketing channels, and adapting campaigns to channels
  • Experience making data-driven marketing decisions
  • Knowledge of payments industry is a plus
  • Experience in a B2B2C business model and Braze is a plus

Compensation:

The salary range for this role is $150-165k.

The salary range displayed reflects an average base salary range for the position across all the U.S. The base salary offered to an applicant could be higher or lower based on each applicant's specific skill set, depth of experience, relevant education or training, etc. 

Location:

This position is classified as REMOTE within the United States of America.

We are unable to hire candidates located outside of the domestic U.S.
