About the RoleThis role is ideal for someone who thrives in a client-facing environment and is equally energized by building operational infrastructure that enables a high-performing team.
What You'll Do
- Lead and develop the Account Management team, setting vision, goals, and a high-performance culture
- Own retention and growth targets across employer groups
- Build and refine scalable processes, tools, and systems that enable the team to serve a growing and more complex book of business
- Serve as a senior client-facing leader with brokers and HR decision-makers, modeling strong relationship management
- Partner cross-functionally to drive automation and self-service capabilities that improve efficiency and client experience
- Track and report on key performance metrics to senior leadership
- Support new market expansion and account transitions as the company scale
What You'll Bring
- 8+ years of experience in Account Management, Customer Success, or a similar function within the insurance or healthcare industry, with 4+ years in a leadership role
- Deep familiarity with employer group health insurance
- A track record of managing employer relationships and broker partnerships
- Systems-level thinker who can identify process gaps and build scalable solutions, not just manage day-to-day issues
- Natural energy for client-facing work - someone who is energized by broker and employer relationships, not just operational management
- Strong ability to lead, coach, and develop teams in a fast-changing environment
- Analytical skills with the ability to translate data into strategic decisions
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- East Coast location strongly preferred; willingness to travel approximately once per month
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Marketing, or a related field
