Qualifications: 

  • 5+ years of successful sales or overlay experience in Cisco Collaboration, UC/UCaaS, meeting room modernization, cloud calling, or contact center solutions for Enterprise, Public Sector, or Global accounts. 
  • Strong understanding of Cisco Webex Suite, Collaboration endpoints, Calling migration paths, Meetings, Control Hub, collaboration security, and competitive landscapes (Microsoft Teams, Zoom, Five9, etc.). 
  • Ability to articulate the business value of hybrid work, AI-enhanced collaboration, next-generation meeting spaces, and employee experience transformation. 
  • Proven ability to coordinate cross-functional teams in complex sales cycles. 
  • Executive presence with strong communication, presentation, and storytelling skills. 
  • High integrity, team-oriented, self-driven, and comfortable operating with autonomy. 
  • Travel up to 25%. 

Certain states and localities require employers to post a reasonable estimate of salary range. A reasonable estimate of the current base pay range for this position is $92,4000.00 to $105,000.00 annually . Actual salary will be based on a variety of factors, including shift, location, experience, skill set, performance, licensure and certification, and business needs. The range for this position in other geographic locations may differ. Certain positions may also be eligible for variable incentive compensation, such as bonuses or commissions, that is not included in the base pay.

Digital Workspace – Cisco Collaboration Business Development Manager 

World Wide Technology (WWT) is hiring two Business Development Managers (BDMs) focused on Cisco Collaboration and adjacent Digital Workspace technologies. These roles support our Commercial Enterprise, Public Sector, and Service Provider sales organizations and play a critical part in driving customer transformation across hybrid work, collaboration modernization, and end-user experience. 

The BDM will uncover, influence, and accelerate opportunities in partnership with WWT Account Managers, Systems Engineers, Global Engineering, and services teams—ensuring our customers achieve measurable business outcomes through world-class collaboration solutions. 

Requirements / Role Overview 

In this role, you will: 

  • Work closely with WWT Account Teams and technical engineering groups to identify collaboration-related opportunities, shape solution strategy, and position the value of WWT’s Digital Workspace capabilities. 
  • Establish trusted relationships with Cisco and other OEM partners, driving joint sales motions and alignment on program strategy. 
  • Elevate siloed customer requests into strategic, outcomes-based transformations across hybrid work, meeting spaces, cloud calling, collaboration security, employee experience, and AI-enabled workflows. 
  • Translate customer business challenges into functional and technical requirements, ensuring strong alignment across stakeholders (business, IT, procurement, CX leaders, etc.). 

This role requires a self-starter who brings deep knowledge of collaboration technologies, strong executive communication skills, and the ability to orchestrate complex cross-functional engagements. 

 

Key Responsibilities: 

  • Act as WWT’s Cisco Collaboration BDM for the region, focused on Webex Suite, Calling, Contact Center, devices/meeting rooms, and collaboration modernization strategies. 
  • Drive demand generation by identifying customer business challenges and mapping them to WWT offerings including consulting, adoption services, integration, managed services, and adjacent Digital Workspace technologies. 
  • Collaborate with Account Managers and technical architects to shape, position, and win services-led solution engagements. 
  • Deliver executive-level messaging around ROI, user experience improvement, cloud migration strategies, AI-enabled collaboration, and workplace transformation. 
  • Partner closely with Cisco field teams and peers to drive pipeline creation, co-sell motions, and alignment on strategic accounts and programs. 
  • Facilitate customer workshops, whiteboards, and discovery sessions to uncover business drivers and solution requirements. 
  • Coordinate with WWT internal specialty teams (EUC/DEX, AIOps/Observability, Contact Center, Networking, Security, Cloud, and Adoption Services). 
  • Support forecasting accuracy, pipeline hygiene, and account planning in partnership with the broader sales team.
