Job Description

The Digital Strategy Executive is responsible for establishing and maintaining relationships with executive-level decision makers across Candescent’s existing client base—building strategic partnerships that drive client retention, renewal, and revenue growth through additional products and services.

You’ll manage a portfolio of approximately 15 Candescent digital banking clients within the Western U.S., with an assigned revenue quota tied to both retention and expansion. This role blends consultative account management with business development, ensuring each client maximizes the value of their partnership with Candescent.

Key Responsibilities

  • Own a defined book of business, achieving revenue retention and growth goals through account planning, product expansion, and strategic collaboration with clients.
  • Engage in a consultative manner with executive stakeholders to align digital strategy with business outcomes.
  • Conduct quarterly business reviews (onsite when needed) to analyze results, identify opportunities, and strengthen multi-product adoption.
  • Educate clients on the business impact of Candescent’s digital banking products and services.
  • Prepare and deliver proposals, presentations, and recommendations that drive revenue and adoption.
  • Negotiate renewals, products, and services while maintaining high client satisfaction and contractual continuity.
  • Collaborate with internal Candescent teams (sales, marketing, product, and implementation) to ensure smooth delivery and client success.
  • Stay informed of industry trends and represent Candescent at trade shows, conferences, and client events.

Basic Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
  • 5+ years in the financial services or technology software industry in a sales and/or account management role with proven revenue results.
  • Strong communication and executive relationship-building skills up to the C-level.
  • Experience within the banking or credit union space—either as a practitioner or vendor partner.
  • Proficiency in consultative, solutions-based selling and strategic account management.
  • Ability to manage multiple client initiatives and navigate complex organizations.
  • Skilled in Microsoft applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) and CRM tools.
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently from a remote environment.
  • Experience selling or managing SaaS/PaaS software solutions.
