MongoDB’s mission is to empower innovators to create, transform, and disrupt industries by unleashing the power of software and data. We enable organizations of all sizes to easily build, scale, and run modern applications by helping them modernize legacy workloads, embrace innovation, and unleash AI. Our industry-leading developer data platform, MongoDB Atlas, is the only globally distributed, multi-cloud database and is available in more than 115 regions across AWS, Google Cloud, and Microsoft Azure. Atlas allows customers to build and run applications anywhere—on premises, or across cloud providers. With offices worldwide and over 175,000 new developers signing up to use MongoDB every month, it’s no wonder that leading organizations, like Samsung and Toyota, trust MongoDB to build next-generation, AI-powered applications.

About the Role

We are seeking a detail-oriented, highly cross-functional individual to join our team managing digital programs within the Global Demand Center. This role goes beyond execution — you will own a portfolio of digital programs that align to MongoDB’s broader demand generation strategies, collaborating with campaign managers, partner marketing, field teams, and marketing operations to ensure programs are scalable, measurable, and tailored to our core audiences. You’ll bring a deep understanding of virtual audience engagement, digital content delivery, and event technology to craft programs that are repeatable globally and optimized for MongoDB’s diverse user base.

Core Responsibilities
  • Program Ownership: Build and maintain the digital events calendar and roadmap, ensuring alignment with broader campaign themes, product priorities, and regional demand generation goals
  • Planning and Strategy: Develop concepts, production timelines, budgets, and themes, ensuring alignment with organizational goals. Contribute insights and learnings back to teams, stakeholders, and the wider Marketing organization (when applicable)
  • Martech & Lead Flow Integration: Partner with Marketing Operations to ensure digital events are seamlessly integrated with key marketing systems (e.g., Zoom, Marketo, Iterable, Salesforce) for registration, lead capture, and post-event nurture
  • Technical Management: Select, set up, and manage virtual event platforms and all required technology, including audio, video, and streaming equipment
  • Audience-Centric Programming: Help design programs that reflect the needs of MongoDB’s core audiences—including developers, architects, and IT decision makers—and tailor content, cadence, and format accordingly
  • Content and Logistics: Coordinate with speakers, talent, and marketing teams, manage presenter schedules, and oversee multimedia elements like videos and graphics
  • Live Event Execution: Oversee rehearsals, manage the live event flow, ensure smooth transitions, and monitor technical quality during the event
  • Engagement and Interactivity: Design and implement strategies to engage attendees, such as polls, Q&A sessions, and chat features
  • Troubleshooting: Proactively monitor systems and quickly resolve any technical issues that arise during the event to ensure a seamless experience
  • Team Coordination: Enable and coordinate the entire digital event team, including technical staff, moderators, and presenters
  • Post-Event Analysis: Oversee the management of event recordings, generate reports, and conduct post-event reviews to identify areas for improvement
Key Skills
  • At least 3 years of demand generation/marketing experience in a technology company; at least 1 year of strategy experience is preferred
  • Audience Acquisition: Experience with audience acquisition via digital platforms (1st/3rd party)
  • Technical Expertise: Deep understanding of virtual event platforms and streaming technology. Knowledge of audiovisual equipment is a plus
  • Organizational Skills: Meticulous attention to detail for managing complex logistics, budgets, and multiple tasks
  • Communication: Excellent written and interpersonal communication skills to liaise with stakeholders and cross-functional implementation teams
  • Problem-Solving: The ability to think quickly, adapt to unforeseen circumstances, and make independent decisions under pressure
  • Adaptability: Staying current with evolving technologies and trends in the digital/virtual event space
