What you’ll be doing

The Product Owner supports CIBC’s goal of being #1 in customer experience by developing and maintaining a vision for the product(s) that delivers on iterations to drive  Stakeholders’ product needs that maximize business value.

At CIBC, we provide a work environment designed to help you thrive in your role. You’ll have the flexibility to manage your work activities within a hybrid arrangement, spending 1 to 3 days per week on-site while working remotely on other days.

How you’ll succeed

  • Create and maintain a prioritized Product BacklogWorking with Stakeholders to develop a product vision that satisfies their requirements
  • Curate user stories and feedback - Prioritizing work on those with maximum value
  • Collaborate with project managers and technical leads - Determine product development cycles
  • Manage release plans - Monitoring project scope, schedule and budget
  • Ensure each iteration delivers expected result - working closely with the development team to define, design, accept and adapt features
  • Serve as the internal/external subject matter expert on the product – act as primary contact for product related questions
