We're Looking For A: Digital PR Intern to join our growing SEO Department. This is a unique opportunity to learn and contribute to the intersection of public relations and search engine optimization. The ideal candidate is a strong writer and communicator who is passionate about storytelling and eager to learn the technical aspects of how content drives online visibility and authority. This role will directly support our digital PR and link-building strategies, helping to increase our brand's organic search presence and reputation.

The base salary range is $17.00-$20.00 per hour.

What You'll Be Doing:
- Media & Publisher Outreach: Assist in identifying and building relationships with journalists, bloggers, editors, and webmasters to secure high-quality media placements and backlinks.
- Content Creation: Draft compelling content including press releases, media pitches, article bylines, and blog posts that are newsworthy, engaging, and optimized for search.
- Link Building Support: Actively support digital PR campaigns designed to earn authoritative backlinks, contributing to the site's overall Domain Authority.
- Research & Analysis: Conduct research on industry trends, competitor backlink profiles, and keyword opportunities to inform our outreach and content strategy.
- List Building: Develop and maintain targeted media and outreach lists for various campaigns.
- Monitoring & Reporting: Monitor the web for brand mentions (both linked and unlinked) and assist in tracking and reporting on key performance indicators (KPIs) such as new referring domains, organic traffic, and keyword rankings.
- Administrative Support: Provide general administrative support to the SEO and Content teams as needed.

- Exceptional Communication: Superior written and verbal communication skills, with an ability to craft compelling narratives and professional emails.
- Detail-Oriented: Strong attention to detail in writing, data entry, and research.
- Analytical Mindset: A genuine interest in using data to tell a story and make decisions. Ability to identify trends and opportunities.
- Proactive & Eager to Learn: A self-starter with a strong desire to learn the fundamentals of both PR and technical SEO. Not afraid to ask questions and take initiative.
- Organizational Skills: Excellent time-management and organizational skills, with the ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously.
- Team Player: A positive, collaborative attitude and the ability to work effectively within a team environment.
- High school diploma
- Currently enrolled in or a recent graduate of a Bachelor's degree program in Communications, Public Relations, Marketing, Journalism, or a related field preferred.
- Previous internship experience in a PR, marketing, or communications role preferred.
- A basic understanding of SEO principles (e.g., what a backlink is, what keywords are) preferred.
- Familiarity with SEO or PR tools such as Google Analytics, Ahrefs, SEMrush, Cision, or Muck Rack preferred.
- Experience managing a personal blog or website preferred.
