Here’s what we need:

We are seeking a creative and strategic NFP Digital Marketing Content Manager to oversee the planning, creation, curation, and execution of high-impact content across our digital marketing channels. This role will be central to campaign success, responsible for ensuring each channel, including email, SMS, website, organic social, paid media, and emerging platforms, is aligned in message, voice, and engagement strategy. The ideal candidate has a passion for storytelling, a strong grasp of nonprofit communications, and experience managing content lifecycles from ideation through deployment.

Here’s what you’ll do:

  • Content Strategy & Planning, Copywriting & Editing, Content Curation & Coordination, Channel-Specific Design & Messaging 
  • Develop and maintain a content calendar aligned with marketing and fundraising goals, in coordination with the Sr. NFP Digital Strategist.
  • Collaborate with digital campaign strategists to understand audience segments, goals, and KPIs.Tailor messaging frameworks to meet the unique requirements of each digital channel.
  • Write compelling, action-oriented copy for emails, SMS, landing pages, paid ads, organic social posts, and web banners.
  • Ensure consistency in tone, voice, and language across all channels and donor touchpoints.
  • Edit and proofread content to ensure clarity, accuracy, and alignment with brand guidelines.
  • Source, adapt, and repurpose relevant stories, photos, videos, and reports from internal and external client communications teams and publications as well as local divisional leads.
  • Incorporate client feedback into end products, from design elements and copy updates, with clear handoff to technical build teams(ex. Email specialists)
  • Collaborate with program and development teams to surface timely and mission-aligned content.
  • Optimize curated content for digital presentation and campaign objectives.
    • Email: Craft subject lines, preview text, and body copy optimized for engagement and conversion.
    • SMS: Write concise, compelling mobile-first messages for alerts, calls to action, and updates.
    • Website: Collaborate with the web team to maintain homepage banners (Theatre spaces), landing pages, lightboxes, donation forms, and blog content.
    • Paid Media: Provide messaging variations for display, search, and social media ad placements.
    • Social Media: Draft post copy tailored for platform (Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, etc.) and campaign timing.

Here’s what you bring: 

  • BA/BS in Marketing, Communications or related field
  • 3+ years of professional experience in digital marketing content/copy creation, preferably with an agency or consultancy
  • Publishing, 4+ years of recent hands-on experience managing digital marketing operations, e.g. theatre space management, lightbox campaigns, organic social content, publishing and landing pages. 
  • Experience working with fundraising, advocacy, or membership campaigns.
  • Working knowledge of Salesforce Marketing Cloud, Classy, BBCRM or SFDC.
  • Familiarity with SEO, accessibility standards, and content analytics tools (Google Analytics, etc.).
  • Basic HTML or visual editing skills, for resizing and edits to gradient
  • Strategic thinker and creative storyteller.
  • Detail-oriented with a proactive, collaborative approach.
  • Mission-driven with a passion for nonprofit work and social impact.
  • Able to adapt voice and tone to diverse audiences and causes.
  • Ability to organize and manage detailed work, as well as work independently and balance multiple tasks.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and problem-solving aptitude

In Colorado, the salary range for this position is $60,000 - $90,000, plus bonus potential tied to individual and company performance, and is based on prior experience and qualifications.
