Summary:
As a DFIN Capital Markets (DCM) Sales Representative, you will educate new and existing customers on our innovative software and technology-enabled financial regulatory and compliance solutions to generate new business opportunities and grow revenue.
Responsibilities:
- Understand DFIN's Solution offerings and develop/execute a strategic territory plan to deliver maximum revenue potential.
- Develop relationships with new customers and qualify prospects to identify new opportunities across DFIN's Global Capital Markets portfolio of solutions.
- Own the entire sales process from qualification through close including market research, lead generation, and initial outreach to understand the needs of potential customers.
- Develop a plan and prioritize your time to focus on high impact activities that achieve results; leveraging and developing pipeline, account plans and territory management
- Partner with lead generation teams to close new opportunities identified through influencers.
- Collaborate with Overlay Specialists to execute product demos and conduct deep-dive sessions and solution roadmap discussions.
- Partner with Account Management team(s) to transition existing customer relationships and provide support to ensure a seamless transition.
Qualifications:
- 5-7 years of experience in financial services sales and/or capital markets deal ecosystem (including law firms, bankers, corporates) experience preferred
- Experience developing executive level relationships to achieve sales growth and cultivate long-lasting customer relationships
- Experience in prospecting and growing market share in whitespace accounts.
- Proven track record of meeting/exceeding sales quotas
- Understanding of latest financial regulations and ability to articulate impact to customers
- Experience with sales tools and CRM Systems
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
