This position will be a hybrid work arrangement. You will receive 18 remote workdays per quarter to use at your discretion, subject to manager approval. For example, you may choose to work in the office 4 days per week and take one remote day weekly (typically 13 weeks per quarter), leaving 5 additional remote days to be used as needed.
We are seeking a highly skilled, hands-on DevOps Engineer to join our Platform Engineering team. This role is ideal for a technology professional who is passionate about automation, infrastructure, and modern DevOps practices. They thrive in collaborative, high-impact environments.
The DevOps Engineer will play a key role in enhancing DevOps capabilities throughout the organization, driving continuous improvement, operational rigor, and engineering quality. Partnering closely with application engineers, data teams, vendors, and IT collaborators, you will compose, build, and support robust CI/CD pipelines and cloud-based platforms. This role supports the full application and data lifecycle—from development through production—within an Azure-based environment, directly improving delivery velocity, reliability, and operational effectiveness.
You deeply understand DevOps principles and actively apply them to improve flow, reduce toil, and cultivate collaboration. Inspired by The Phoenix Project and The Unicorn Project, you champion fast feedback, continuous learning, and shared ownership—not just pipelines.
Experience supporting applications and digital products using DevOps and automation practices
Strong grounding in DevOps principles (The Three Ways, Five Ideals) with shown impact on delivery and operations
Expertise administering Git-based repositories (GitHub), including branching strategies and repository governance
Shown CI/CD pipeline development experience using platforms like Jenkins, including automation, orchestration, and approval gates
Hands-on artifact management experience covering versioning, storage, promotion, and lifecycle governance
Proficient in writing scripts with Bash, Python, and/or PowerShell
Experience handling cloud infrastructure using infrastructure as code, preferably in Microsoft Azure
Proficiency with container technologies such as Docker or Podman
Shown background in configuration management, security, and operational rigor
Shown success supporting production environments, resolving incidents, and fixing sophisticated issues
Ability to deliver results in fast-paced, sophisticated environments
Strong communication skills with both technical and non-technical collaborators
A collaborative approach and commitment to elevating DevOps maturity across teams
Modernize and optimize automated build and deployment workflows to improve performance, reliability, and developer experience
Organize migrations from Azure DevOps to GitHub, including repository restructuring and team enablement
Implement and operate continuous integration and delivery systems using pipelines as code and coordinated tooling
Build and maintain automated CI/CD workflows across development, test, and production environments
Integrate DevOps tooling with ALM platforms such as ServiceNow to enable traceability and compliance
Enable developer self-service capabilities for environment provisioning and deployments
Implement source control standards, including branching, versioning, and promotion practices
Develop and maintain infrastructure as code solutions for Azure compute, storage, and networking
Leverage containerization to standardize and streamline deployments
Apply configuration management and security guidelines aligned with enterprise standards
Provide production support, including triage, root-cause analysis, and coordinated resolution
Collaborate closely with engineering and platform teams on high-impact initiatives
Continuously improve DevOps standards, tooling, and operational processes

Experience leading migrations across source control, CI/CD platforms, or infrastructure ecosystems
Enterprise-scale experience handling DevOps practices, pipelines, and developer platforms
Hands-on expertise administering tools such as Azure DevOps, Jenkins, GitHub, and artifact repositories
Strong scripting and prototyping skills in Bash, Python, or PowerShell
A track record of delivering sophisticated initiatives through collaboration with multi-functional teams
Ability to translate technical decisions into clear, compelling narratives for leadership
Shows a genuine preference for mentoring and elevating others
Experience planning container platform migrations (e.g., OpenShift, AKS)
Familiarity with container orchestration strategies and platform evaluations
Experience handling Infrastructure as Code software such as Terraform, Bicep, or OpenTofu
Familiarity with Application Lifecycle Management tooling such as Jira
Bachelor’s degree in a technology‑related field or equivalent experience
6+ years of enterprise DevOps experience in cloud‑based delivery environments

Salary Range
$100,000.00 - $160,000.00This USD base salary range represents only one component of total compensation for this role and is provided in accordance with local requirements. This role is eligible for a discretionary annual bonus, which is determined based on individual and overall firm performance. In addition to salary and bonus, total compensation may include eligibility for long-term reward programs and a comprehensive total rewards package that may include retirement, health, insurance, paid time off, and wellness programs. Our total rewards offerings are influenced by several business factors, and eligibility for certain components will vary by position and geography. Please note the posted ranges do not apply outside the U.S. and should not be converted to other currencies as a proxy for compensation in other countries.
