We are looking to enhance our capabilities in building cloud native software. We are seeking out engineers with cloud experience and DevOps mindset to work closely with software development teams. That’s where you come in!


You will
  • Build AWS cloud infrastructure with Terraform
  • Provide guidelines for CI/CD pipelines and observability stack.
  • Work closely with engineering organization including software development teams.
  • Share knowledge about DevOps best practices across Sonalake.
  • Actively participate in suggesting architecture improvements, recommending process improvements and conducting tool evaluation.

You may be a fit for this role if you
  • Have 3+ years of experience as DevOps engineer
  • Have experience of working in an agile environment
  • Have demonstrable operational experience with AWS (additional GCP, Azure experience is welcomed)
  • Are experienced in managing multi-region, multi-cloud large scale infrastructure
  • Know how to work with Terraform (Infrastructure as a code)
  • Have experience in setting up observability stack. E.g. OpenTelemetry, Grafana, Tempo, Loki, Prometheus, Elasticsearch, Logstash, Kibana
  • Have hands on experience in tools used for cloud-native applications and orchestration (e.g.Kubernetes, ECS, Docker)
  • Posses deep understanding of Linux fundamentals and internals like filesystems, security, networking etc.
  • Are experienced with CI/CD tools and pipelines tools such as Jenkins, GitHub, Bitbucket
  • Have experience in technical mentoring and knowledge sharing
  • Are a great communicator in English - both written and spoken
