DevOps Engineer II needed by o9 Solutions, Inc. in Dallas, TX [and various unanticipated locations through  the U.S.; may telecommute] to develop and maintain tools that ensure smooth operations of o9's cloud-based  solutions. Develop and deploy tools that support continuous integration and continuous delivery processes.  Perform system and network administration. Manage o9 platform deployment at AWS, Azure, Google Cloud,  Samsung Cloud. Use Dockers to deploy and manage containers. Monitor infrastructure health using ELK  cluster. Identify opportunities for performance optimization and apply solutions to improve system  efficiency. Administer databases that are part of o9 platforms using MS SQL, Mongo. Develop and debug  Custom Integration service tasks. Conduct performance tuning. Conduct application upgrades and patches.  Implement and sustain CI/CD pipelines to automate the software delivery process, covering the journey from  code commit to production deployment. Support continuous integration and deployment tooling Utilizing  Dockers, Kubernetes, and Hadoop. Work with Cloud Operations (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud, Samsung  Cloud), Jenkins, Ansible, Terraform, and administration of databases (MS SQL, Mongo). Apply security best  practices within the cloud environment, ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations.  Collaborate with the security team to conduct routine security audits and implement necessary improvements.  

Minimum Requirements: Requires a Bachelor’s degree, or foreign equivalent degree, in Computer  Science, Information Technology, or Computer Information Systems and three (3) years of experience in the  job offered, or three (3) years of experience in a related occupation working in a DevOps role; conducting  performance tuning; conducting application upgrades and patches; supporting continuous integration and  deployment tooling; utilizing Dockers, Kubernetes, and Hadoop; working with Cloud Operations (AWS,  Azure, Google Cloud), Jenkins, Ansible, Terraform, and administration of databases (MS SQL, Mongo);  cloud infrastructure automation, with expertise in any public cloud platforms, e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP;  building & operating highly reliable distributed systems in a cloud environment; in-depth knowledge of  Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools, with an emphasis on Terraform; CI/CD tools like Jenkins, GitLab CI;  familiarity with containerization and orchestration technologies (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes); grasp of  networking principles and adherence to security best practices in cloud environments; ensure nonfunctional  requirements (security, performance, maintainability, scalability, usability, and reliability) are considered  during solution design and implementation.
