What you will be doing:

  • Design/build workflows and DevOps infrastructure to help achieve Continuous: Integration, Testing, Deployment and Monitoring.

  • Create, configure, and execute on-going or newly proposed processes and a variety of projects.

  • Manage product builds and deployments.

  • Communicate the workflows and vision across the IT organization.

  • Create documentation for CI/CD Infrastructure.

  • Create system documentation for training and reference.

  • Collaborate with infrastructure and development teams.

  • Identify areas for improvement within processes and practices.

What we hope you will bring to the role:

  • BS Degree preferred in Computer Science or Engineering or 5 years of relevant experience in lieu of degree

  • 5+ years DevOps experience in improving efficiency and achieving Continuous Integration, Continuous Testing and Continuous Deployment.

  • 2+ years of experience with infrastructure automation tools (such as Docker, Ansible, Puppet, Packer, Vault, Consul, SaltStack.

  • At this time, Bright Horizons will not sponsor an applicant for employment authorization/visa for this position.

  • Experience with Windows and Linux system administration with knowledge of installations, performance- tuning, security, and shell scripting.

  • Experience with SDLC Management software and solutions.

  • Prior DevOps experience in improving efficiency and achieving Continuous Integration, Continuous Testing and Continuous Deployment in distributed, enterprise scale architectures.

  • Proven experience in building DevOps infrastructure and creating multiple environments.

  • Experience with modern service-oriented architecture.

  • Experience with Continuous Integration tools (Azure DevOps, JIRA, Maven, Jenkins, Teamcity, Octopus, Gitlab, etc.).

  • Experience with shell scripts, such as PowerShell, Bash, Zsh.

  • Source control knowledge such as Git or TFS.

  • Prior development experience in any modern language (C#, HTML, CSS, Java, etc.).

  • Experience with cloud and hosted infrastructure on Azure, AWS, or GCP.

  • Experience with networking load balancers.

  • Containers and Kubernetes experience preferred.

  • Cloud CLI and infrastructure as code experience with Terraform, or similar.

  • Solid understanding of SQL, relational and non-relational databases.

  • Excellent interpersonal skills and communication.

  • Experience automating processes as much as possible.

  • Experience analyzing and strengthening existing infrastructure for reliability, availability, security, and scalability.

  • Identify areas for improvement within processes and practices.

Salary and Other Compensation Disclosures:

The annual starting salary for this position is between $100,000 - $115,000 annually. The pay range listed here is what Bright Horizons in good faith anticipates offering for this job opening. Actual compensation offers within this range will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education and training, certifications, geography, and other relevant business or organizational factors.

Compensation: $100,000 - $115,000 / annually
