We are seeking a DevOps Architect to join our growing team and lead enterprise-level DevOps transformation initiatives. In this role, you’ll collaborate with cross-functional teams, provide strategic consulting, and drive full lifecycle product development. You will bring deep expertise in cloud infrastructure (AWS or Azure), DevOps architecture design, and version control systems like GitHub, GitLab, and Perforce. This is a high-impact position focused on designing scalable DevOps solutions and leading complex version control and CI/CD migrations at scale.
About You- Experience: Senior-Level Architect: 10+ years of experience in DevOps, Site Reliability Engineering, or Cloud Architecture roles.
- Leadership: Proven success designing and implementing DevOps architecture and tooling strategies across large-scale enterprise environments.
- Version Control: Extensive experience using Git and GitHub for source control, access management, and development workflows.
- CI/CD: Deep expertise designing, implementing, and optimizing CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions, GitLab CI/CD, Jenkins, or similar tools.
- GitHub Migration: Experience in GitHub migration processes and a GitHub certification is highly desirable
- Strong skills and experience in cloud infrastructure, including:
- Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC)
- Virtualization and containerization
- Monitoring and automation
- Strong communication skills to collaborate effectively with various teams and explain technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
- Excellent problem-solving abilities to tackle complex issues and think strategically.
- Adaptability to learn new tools and methodologies in the ever-evolving tech landscape.
- Collaboration and teamwork skills for working smoothly with development, operations, and IT teams.
- Attention to detail to ensure system stability and high-quality deliverables by identifying potential issues early.
- Independent Work and Ownership: Manage multiple tasks with minimal direction, continually improving processes. Mentor others inside Modus and our clients team.
- Project familiarity: GitHub experience especially on projects that tackled migrations. Extensive experience using Git and GitHub for source control and development is to be expected.
- Strategic Thinking: Ability to align DevOps strategies with business goals and enterprise IT policies.
- GitHub certification.
- AWS or Azure certification.
- Prior consulting or client-facing experience.
- Mentoring and coaching both clients and Modus teammates from the comfort of home.
- Deep diving into customer needs and translating them into actionable requirements.
- Exploring new tech and continuously learning—because software is always evolving!
- Sharing your knowledge and participating actively in the community
- Overlap with some EST hours daily is expected.
- Reliable high-speed internet is a must.
