About the role
- The Development Operations Engineer plays a critical role in bridging software development and infrastructure operations. This position ensures our engineering teams can deliver high-quality, reliable software quickly, consistently, and securely. You will own our CI/CD pipelines, cloud infrastructure, monitoring stack, environment automation, and operational tooling—empowering developers and ensuring system resilience at scale.

What you'll do
- Infrastructure & Cloud Management
- Design, implement, and manage scalable cloud infrastructure (AWS).
- Maintain Infrastructure-as-Code.
- Optimize cost, performance, and reliability across cloud environments.
CI/CD & Automation
- Own and continuously improve CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, Jenkins).
- Automate build, test, deployment, and rollback workflows.
- Implement blue/green and canary deployments to minimize downtime.
- Build internal tools and scripts to streamline developer workflows.
Monitoring, Logging & Incident Response
- Set up and maintain observability tools (New Relic).
- Ensure robust application logging, tracing, and alerting.
- Lead incident response for production events, performing root-cause analysis.
- Drive post-incident reviews and long-term remediation initiatives.
Security & Compliance
- Implement DevSecOps best practices across pipelines and environments.
- Manage identity access, and environment hardening.
- Support SOC 2, ISO, and internal compliance requirements.
- Create automated checks for vulnerabilities, dependencies, and misconfigurations.
Collaboration & Support
- Partner with software engineers, QA, and product teams to streamline delivery.
- Improve developer experience through automation, self-service tooling, and environment lifecycle management.
