About Hashgraph:

Hashgraph is a fast-growing software company committed to supporting, developing and servicing Hedera, an open source, proof-of-stake platform. Hedera is EVM-compatible and has been specifically built to meet the needs of enterprise and web3 applications, which require speed, security, stability and sustainability. Hedera’s public network is governed by industry-leading organizations, spanning 11 sectors and 14 regions who oversee the development and direction of the decentralized platform.

WHY THIS ROLE EXISTS

We are hiring a DevRel Engineer - Education Programs Lead to scale how developers learn, build, and succeed on Hedera. As the Hedera ecosystem grows, we are evolving from individual tutorials and resources to structured, outcome-driven learning experiences that guide developers from first interaction to production deployment. This role exists to ensure that developer education becomes a consistent, high-impact growth lever. It’s accelerating onboarding, deepening engagement, and increasing the number of developers successfully building on testnet and mainnet.

THE IMPACT YOU’LL HAVE

In this role, you will:

  • Own the end-to-end developer education strategy, designing structured learning paths that take developers from zero to production-ready
  • Build high-quality technical learning experiences (tutorials, courses, demos, code samples) that accelerate developer onboarding and activation
  • Ship hands-on educational content consistently across formats (written, video, interactive) with a clear content cadence
  • Create real, working applications and templates that serve as both learning tools and reusable developer assets
  • Run workshops, webinars, and live coding sessions to engage and activate developers across skill levels
  • Define and track education metrics (completion, activation, progression to mainnet) and iterate based on data
  • Partner cross-functionally with engineering, product, marketing, and community to align education with ecosystem priorities

WHAT SUCCESS LOOKS LIKE (6–12 MONTHS)

  • A structured learning path is live and actively used, with clear learning outcomes and measurable completion + activation rates
  • Education-driven activation metrics are defined, tracked, and improved (e.g., 7-day activation, progression to mainnet)
  • A consistent content engine is operating (2–4 high-quality pieces per month across formats)
  • At least one certification or credentialing initiative is launched or fully scoped with a platform partner
  • Developer onboarding shifts from ad hoc documentation to guided, outcome-driven learning journeys

WHAT YOU BRING

Core Capabilities

  • Strong hands-on engineering ability (JavaScript, Python, and/or Java). You can build and ship real applications
  • Proven experience designing structured learning programs (courses, learning paths, certifications, or similar)
  • Ability to translate complex technical concepts into clear, engaging learning experiences
  • Demonstrated track record of shipping technical content across formats (written + video)
  • High ownership and autonomy. You can set direction and execute in a fast-moving, distributed environment

Functional Expertise

  • Deep understanding of how developers learn (project-based learning, hands-on labs, outcome-driven design)
  • Experience with developer education platforms or tooling (LMS, YouTube, interactive environments, course platforms)
  • Ability to use data to inform content strategy (completion rates, engagement, activation metrics)
  • Experience engaging developers through workshops, hackathons, or live sessions

Nice to Have

  • Experience with web3 / EVM ecosystems (smart contracts, dApps, Hardhat, Foundry, ethers.js)
  • Familiarity with Hedera, hashgraph concepts, or related SDKs
  • Experience building certification programs or credentialing systems
  • Experience using AI tools for content creation or developer productivity
