We're looking for a Senior Art Director to join SharkNinja’s Creative Team. The ideal candidate should be versatile and able to conceptualize, design, think and work across all the Shark product lines. Our culture is fast-growing, fast-paced and unpredictable. A good candidate is a strong strategic thinker with a robust knowledge of branding, design, and advertising. They are ready to roll their sleeves up and get to work. She/he is a curious, conceptual thinker who is versatile, and always drives to thoughtful design solutions. As a member of the Creative Department, the Senior Art Director will develop conceptual ideas and designs for new products, this includes in-store instances; packaging and displays. A passion for bringing product stories to life and creating brand loyalty is a must.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with various internal teams to develop product stories from beginning conceptual stages to final executions.
• Present product concepts and mocked-up visuals to senior executives; iterate with direct cross-functional feedback
• Ensure creative consistency across varied executions.
• Support Creative/Brand team in developing Brand guidelines
• Provide art direction and feedback to external partners, and more junior team members

Required Skills, Mindset, and Functional Expertise:

• An impressive portfolio with a demonstration of creative problem solving skills across a range of mediums, with heavy focus on product story, packaging and in-store display.
• Deep understanding of point of purchase best practices, familiar with current trends and best-in-class examples
• Experience with pre-production, offset, and digital printing.
• Solid understanding of the customers purchasing experience; research, point-of-purchase, out of box experience.
• Entrepreneurial mindset and comfort level with fast-paced, highly iterative environment, with a passion for constantly driving for better answers
• Team player with strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to adapt and drive action in the face of ambiguity
• Highly detail-oriented
• Ability to mentor and direct junior designers, production designers

Qualifications:

• 8-10 years creative department or agency experience
• Depth of printing experience and current with latest techniques and best practices
• Highly Proficient with the Adobe CS family of programs
