We are looking for a motivated and talented Hardware UI Designer with background in User Interface, Interaction and Product Design to join our growing Ninja Design team. As a Product Designer, you will lead User Interface development activities from concept to prototyping and product implementation for both physical and digital products. You will collaborate with teams of designers, engineers and marketeers to create and deliver innovative, user-centered interfaces that elevate the user experience and drive consumer satisfaction for our products. You will also be responsible for articulating designs to senior management.

Ninja Design is a team of Industrial Designers, UI and CMF Designers working on products across the Ninja brand.

Responsibilities

• Practice user-centered design approach to translate consumer insights into meaningful product solutions that will delight consumers both on an emotional/experiential and functional level
• Develop physical and digital user interfaces for consumer products from concept to production
• Conceptualize and visualize physical and digital design solutions
• Generate high quality and suitable materials for presentation
• Create prototypes for research and internal review
• Articulate and specify design intent for manufacturing by creating specifications detailing layout, graphics, interaction, touch point behavior, etc.
• Collaborate with multi-disciplinary team to innovate design solutions
• Solve complex problems creatively
• Understand SharkNinja's brands and help define the company’s future product development strategies

Qualifications & Experience

• Bachelor’s degree required in UI Design, Industrial Design, Interaction Design or related discipline
• 2+ years of user interface development experience for both hardware and digital products
• Expertise in UI/UX and Graphic Design software, development practices and related tools
• Strong detail orientation with ability work quickly without compromising quality
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline driven environment
• Ability to juggle multiple projects and tasks
• Strong team player
• Work sample/portfolio required
