Job Description
We are seeking a junior level electrical/mechanical design draftsperson who can perform the following:
1. Create 2D fabrication and assembly drawings utilizing AutoCAD from Cadence layouts, and sketches requiring strict adherence to design intent, specified dimensions, tolerances, special notes, as well as both company and customer specifications
2. Arrange optimum type and number of views to reflect a complete drawing
3. Incorporate IPC material specifications and finishes required into drawings
4. Generate moderately complex schematic diagrams from engineering sketches and notes
5. Understand and generate Parts Lists/Bill of Materials (BOMs) as they apply to their associated assemblies leveraging the product data manager (PDM)
6. Include all explanatory notes and related information necessary to clarify drawings and provide for accurate interpretation
7. Create drawings and lists in accordance with Industry Standards ASME Y14.100, IPC-6012, IPC-A-610 and IPC J-STD-001
8. Perform and maintain revision control of documentation/models
9. Perform file management using a product data manager system (i.e. ENOVIA PDM)
10. Working knowledge of Cadence Allegro
11. Expert in the use of AutoCAD
