In this role, you will utilize your experience and expertise to solve problems, develop and execute objectives that affect producibility and cost by executing engineering cost reduction projects across Defense and Systems core products in support of the D&S cost initiative. Your activities will contribute to the redesign for Safety, Quality, Delivery and Cost of products, solutions and systems across the T700 and T408 product lines.

Roles and Responsibilities
- Execute the design, analysis, or evaluation of assigned projects using sound engineering principles and adhering to business standards, practices, procedures, and product / program requirements.
- Develop Business case for assigned projects and solicit product line support. Document technical data generated by the assigned project consistent with engineering policies and procedures.
- Collaborate with others to solve issues. Exchange technical knowledge to personnel supporting the assigned project. Consult supervisor or more senior team members for issues outside of defined instructions/parameters; may be required to lead a junior team.
- Prepare and present technical data to internal customers
- Provide timely communications on significant issues or developments. Resolves issues in situations that require good technical knowledge and judgment within established procedures. Consults more senior team members for issues outside of defined instructions/parameters.
- Support the implementation of Flight Deck principles within working teams.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or advanced degree in engineering from an accredited college or university
- Minimum 2 years experience in a relevant engineering position
- Ability to travel up to 10% annually

- Bachelor’s or advanced degree in Mechanical or Aerospace engineering from an accredited college or university
- Rotating parts design and manufacturing experience
- Demonstrated technical and business collaboration with both internal manufacturing shops and external suppliers
- Demonstrated expertise in design and analysis tools, such as Unigraphics/NX, ANSYS classic.
- Experience and familiarity with GD&T principles and reading drawings.
- Strong leadership skills, with the ability to influence others and lead small teams.
- Strong oral, written, interpersonal and communication skills.
- Demonstrated ability to analyze & solve technical design challenges with sound documentation, planning, & program
management skills. - Ability to independently organize, document, plan and execute simultaneous projects while aligning with business priorities.
The base pay range for this position is 98,900.00 - 124,200.00. The specific pay offered may be influenced by a variety of factors, including the candidate’s experience, education, and skill set. This position is also eligible for an annual discretionary bonus based on a percentage of your base salary/ commission based on the plan. This posting is expected to close on June 10, 2026.
