Job Description
We are seeking an experienced Deputy Program Manager (DPM) to support a high-visibility program within the Intelligence Community. The DPM will assist the Program Manager in overseeing all aspects of program execution-including technical performance, schedule adherence, financial management, and contractual compliance. This position involves both programmatic leadership and coordination with technical teams and plays a key role in ensuring successful delivery in a fast-paced, secure environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support the Program Manager and PMO in managing day-to-day operations of the program.
- Oversee the delivery of Contract Data Requirements Lists (CDRLs) and ensure adherence to deadlines and quality standards.
- Monitor, manage, and report on PRS (Performance Requirements Summary) and KPI (Key Performance Indicator) metrics.
- Serve as the program's Risk Manager and Quality Manager, responsible for maintaining the Risk Management Plan and ensuring compliance with performance standards.
- Collaborate with customer stakeholders, including the COTR and CHD leadership.
- Assist in managing financial, cost, schedule, and contractual elements of the program.
- Identify and implement Continuous Service Improvement (CSI) initiatives.
- Participate in internal governance bodies such as the JEDI Council (Joint Engineering & Development Integration Council or similar program-level leadership review board).
- Coordinate with cross-functional technical and security teams, supporting secure program execution and delivery.
Required Education, Experience, & Skills
- Active TS/SCI clearance with CI Polygraph (must be current)
- Bachelor's degree required; a technical degree is preferred, but equivalent experience in program or technical leadership roles will be considered in lieu of a technical degree
- 10+ years of experience in program or project management
- PMP certification
- Strong background in managing technical deliverables and program performance
- Excellent communication and leadership skills
Preferred Education, Experience, & Skills
- Experience supporting defense contracting and working within classified government programs
- Familiarity with SecDevOps, DevSecOps, or secure software delivery environments
- Working knowledge of Agile, CI/CD, or modern systems engineering methodologies
- Experience interfacing with the DoD or Intelligence Community
Pay Information
Full-Time Salary Range: $146670 - $249330
Please note: This range is based on our market pay structures. However, individual salaries are determined by a variety of factors including, but not limited to: business considerations, local market conditions, and internal equity, as well as candidate qualifications, such as skills, education, and experience.
