About M7 Health

M7 Health is the AI-powered workforce operations platform for healthcare, designed for the realities of clinical staffing and scheduling. We use AI to help organizations forecast demand, auto-balance schedules, and deploy the right person to fill every shift before resorting to premium labor spend. The result: health systems reduce overtime, cut contract labor costs, and give clinical leaders time back to focus on care. Built with the earned wisdom of nurses, M7 serves tens of thousands of healthcare professionals daily and activated over 100 net new hospitals across 29 states, last year alone.

M7 recently raised a $10M Series A, backed by Threshold and First Round Capital, and we're building the team to match our ambition.

About The Role

We are looking for a UKG/Kronos Deployment Strategist — someone who has built their career in UKG and Kronos WFM and knows the platform inside and out. If you're energized by the customer relationship, the configuration problem, and being the most credible person in the room when a health system is making decisions about their workforce management environment, this role is built for you.

You will be M7's subject matter authority on UKG: showing up in sales cycles to answer the hard questions, gathering and documenting configuration requirements from new customers, and staying engaged as the trusted expert as new hospital sites launch onto the platform.

The most important thing you bring is UKG expertise, paired with the communication skills and customer presence to operate effectively across IT teams, workforce management leaders, and procurement processes.

Responsibilities:
  • UKG Expertise and Configuration
    • Serve as M7's internal and external authority on UKG Workforce Central (Kronos WFC) and UKG Dimensions (Pro WFM)
    • Lead requirements-gathering sessions with health system WFM and IT teams to map pay rules, scheduling config, timekeeping, accruals, and attendance policies
    • Build and maintain a repeatable process for collecting and documenting UKG configuration requirements from new customers
    • Own the configuration review process to ensure M7's integration accurately reflects each customer's environment before go-live
  • Commercial Presence and RFP Support
    • Represent M7 as the UKG subject matter expert in active sales cycles, discovery calls, and RFP responses
    • Answer hard questions from health system IT directors, VP-level WFM leaders, and procurement teams about how M7's integration actually works
    • Partner with the sales team to scope integration complexity and set accurate expectations during contracting
  • Ongoing Customer Support
    • Guide customers through UKG configuration and onboarding as new hospital sites launch onto the platform
    • Run recurring touchpoints with customer WFM teams to surface configuration issues and support successful adoption
    • Own customer communication through integration issues, coordinating with engineering on resolution
    • Document UKG configuration patterns, site-specific nuances, and lessons learned to accelerate future deployments
About You:
  • UKG Expert: You have 5+ years of hands-on experience with UKG/Kronos WFM implementation, configuration, or deployment, with meaningful ownership of customer-facing rollouts at health systems. You are as comfortable in a customer conversation as you are in a configuration document.
  • Customer-Facing and Credible: You are an exceptional communicator with both technical and non-technical audiences — comfortable with a health system IT director and a VP of Workforce Management in the same conversation. You are skilled at running structured discovery sessions and translating complex WFM configurations into clean documentation.
  • Commercially Aware: You are credible and composed in a sales-adjacent capacity — you can handle hard questions from procurement teams, answer RFP responses with precision, and build trust with skeptical stakeholders.
  • Structured and Accountable: You track open items across multiple customer engagements, communicate status proactively, and drive to closure without being chased.
  • Attitude and Culture: You are aligned with M7's values: you act with urgency, bring relentless curiosity, lead with kindness, and hold yourself to a high standard of craft. You're passionate about the mission of making health systems stronger and show it every day.
Nice to Haves:
  • Background at a healthcare SaaS company, WFM consulting firm, or UKG implementation partner — candidates who have lived inside complex health system deployments and understand how decisions get made across IT, workforce management, and nursing leadership are strongly encouraged to apply.
  • Venture-backed startup experience — candidates who are comfortable operating in fast-moving environments with limited structure are especially compelling.
  • Technical fluency — SQL proficiency for querying data issues, familiarity with log tooling such as Datadog or AWS CloudWatch, and comfort with API-based integration concepts.
Hybrid Environment

This is a remote role. We have an office in Manhattan and will have quarterly onsites. All M7 employees are welcome to come into the office, but this role does not come with an in-office requirement.

Please note that M7 is unable to sponsor or transfer H1B visas at this time. Candidates must be authorized to work in the U.S. without current or future visa sponsorship.

Compensation and Benefits

This role offers industry-competitive compensation, including cash compensation, equity, and healthcare benefits.

Equal Opportunity Employer

At M7 Health, we aim to foster a workplace free from discrimination. We believe that diversity of experience, perspectives, and backgrounds leads to a better environment for our people and a better product for our clients. M7 Health is an equal-opportunity employer and encourages all applicants from every background and life experience to apply.

Boston is a powerhouse for technology innovation thanks to world-class research universities like MIT and Harvard and a robust pipeline of venture capital investment. Host to the first telephone call and one of the first general-purpose computers ever put into use, Boston is now a hub for biotechnology, robotics and artificial intelligence — though it’s also home to several B2B software giants. So it’s no surprise that the city consistently ranks among the greatest startup ecosystems in the world.

Key Facts About Boston Tech

  • Number of Tech Workers: 269,000; 9.4% of overall workforce (2024 CompTIA survey)
  • Major Tech Employers: Thermo Fisher Scientific, Toast, Klaviyo, HubSpot, DraftKings
  • Key Industries: Artificial intelligence, biotechnology, robotics, software, aerospace
  • Funding Landscape: $15.7 billion in venture capital funding in 2024 (Pitchbook)
  • Notable Investors: Summit Partners, Volition Capital, Bain Capital Ventures, MassVentures, Highland Capital Partners
  • Research Centers and Universities: MIT, Harvard University, Boston College, Tufts University, Boston University, Northeastern University, Smithsonian Astrophysical Observatory, National Bureau of Economic Research, Broad Institute, Lowell Center for Space Science & Technology, National Emerging Infectious Diseases Laboratories
