The Role

We are looking for a Demo Engineering Team Manager to lead and grow a team responsible for building and maintaining demo environments to support BT Solutions Engineers (SEs), Partner SEs, Partners, Customers and Analysts alike with secure, feature-rich standardised demo environments and consistent product experiences. This role involves technical leadership, technical oversight, and cross-functional collaboration to ensure demo assets are high-quality, scalable, and aligned with strategic business goals. This team will be catalyst for BeyondTrust to reach new levels of engagement from analyst, partners and customers to deliver product consistency and high quality engagements for all.

What You’ll Do

• Define team objectives, processes, and best practices for demo-creation and maintenance.
• Oversee the architecture and automation of demo environments for scalability and reliability.
• Ensure demos reflect the latest product capabilities and competitive positioning.
• Manage workload prioritization and resource allocation within the team.
• Track and report on demo performance and usage metrics.

To Support Strategic Objectives:

• Revenue Growth: Equip Solutions Engineers and partners with consistent, outcome-focused demos from the start of engagements.
• Operational Efficiency: Reduce configuration and troubleshooting time, enabling faster access to solutions.
• Partner Enablement: Provide partners with ready-to-use environments that reflect best practices and optimized configurations.
• Security & Scalability: Improve lab environment security and scalability to support global operations.

What You’ll Bring

• 3+ years in a technical role (Solutions Engineering/PreSales, Solution Architecture or scaling automation systems)
• Strong background in Identity industry
• Scripting for AD and database initialization (e.g., PowerShell, Python, Bash).
• Strong technical background in SaaS, cloud platforms 9Aws and Azure) and enterprise software.
• Experience with demo environment design, automation, and deployment.

Strong IaC experience in the following areas:
Infrastructure as Code (IaC):

• Terraform (preferred for multi-cloud and DRY code) or CloudFormation (for AWS-centric portions).
• Azure DevTest Labs for rapid provisioning of Azure-based environments.
• Automation/CI-CD:
• GitHub repo for version control of all scripts and documentation.
• GitHub Actions for automated builds, tests, and environment deployment.
• AWS AMI custom images for fast and consistent VM provisioning.
