Apollo helps teams build, operate, and scale the graphs that power modern applications. If you’ve streamed a show, booked a trip, or read the news online, there’s a good chance Apollo was working quietly behind the scenes. We support some of the largest and most sophisticated GraphQL platforms in the world.
But we’re not here just to maintain the status quo. Apollo is redefining how software teams build and ship - bringing clarity, speed, and leverage to increasingly complex systems. Our platform gives teams a single, coherent way to connect clients, services, and now AI-powered experiences, without drowning in endpoints or bespoke integrations.
Just as importantly, we’re building a company where ambitious people can do the best work of their careers. That means meaningful ownership, smart teammates, and tackling hard problems that actually matter. If you like moving fast, thinking deeply, and helping shape what comes next, you’ll feel right at home here.
About the role and teamApollo is looking for a demand generation leader to build and own a program that doesn’t fully exist yet. This is not a role where you step into a mature function and optimize at the margins. You will design the infrastructure, set the strategy, and execute the programs that drive pipeline for Apollo's core business and for future launches.
If you want to own the full picture of the numbers side of marketing and you thrive when there is real hands-on work to be done, this role was built for you.
What you’ll buildLead the overarching demand generation strategy and execute high-impact marketing programs to achieve pipeline and revenue targets
Own the design and buildout of attribution and measurement infrastructure, lead qualification model, account-based marketing programs, and more
Develop and manage the pipeline forecast, measuring the impact of marketing programs and continually optimizing them
Plan, execute, and manage the budget for paid campaigns
Partner with sales and marketing leadership to ensure alignment on campaign execution, priorities, and pipeline coverage.
A proven demand generation or growth marketing professional with a consistent track record of meeting pipeline and revenue targets
You have 8+ years in demand generation or growth marketing — ideally at a high-growth SaaS, open source, or developer tools company — and you can point to specific pipeline and revenue outcomes you drove, not just programs you ran.
Analytically proficient and hands-on, with strong experience with HubSpot (e.g., workflow and campaign management, marketing contact enrollment, building nurture campaigns), Salesforce, and other systems
You think in funnels and attribution. You are comfortable designing a measurement model from scratch, reading what the data says, and making a confident channel or budget decision from it.
You use AI as a force multiplier to meaningfully change how fast you can work and how good the output is.
You are budget-conscious and results-driven
Experience in APIs, developer-first platforms, or other backend infrastructure
Experience working directly with — and being accountable to — CEOs
Early-stage or zero-to-one marketing experience; you’ve helped reposition or launch new products in a dynamic market
Leadership experience, including building and managing high-performing teams
