What You Will Achieve
In this role, you will:
The Manager of PGS Delivery Performance lead, will lead high-impact digital transformation initiatives across Pfizer Global Supply (PGS), with a global scope spanning multiple business units and geographies. This role is pivotal in driving strategic alignment, agile execution, and operational excellence across data, finance, and platform teams.
As a key leader within the PGS Data and Analytics Solution Delivery team, the manager will be responsible for delivering complex programs by establishing data standards, integrating data platforms, and driving data adoption to enable a data-driven organization. The role demands a strong command of scaled agile methodologies, stakeholder engagement, and cross-functional collaboration. The successful candidate will be responsible for structuring technical programs, mentoring hybrid teams, and presenting strategic updates to senior leadership.

  • Program Leadership: Lead cross-functional initiatives that align priorities across business, finance, platform, and operations teams, driving collaboration and delivery of strategic objectives. Lead and guide moderately complex projects, effectively managing time and resources
  • Decision-Making: Make informed decisions by gathering input from diverse sources and balancing operational needs with long-term goals. Work independently on assignments, seeking guidance on unusual or complex problems
  • Agile Execution: Facilitate agile practices such as sprint planning, backlog refinement, and team ceremonies across multiple domains.
  • Strategic Initiative Ownership: Drive complex programs focused on process improvement and user experience transformation, identifying gaps and shaping strategic direction.
  • Customer Engagement: Maintain ongoing communication with internal stakeholders to clarify requirements, manage expectations, and ensure alignment regarding deliverables.
  • Technical Program Structuring: Apply agile methodologies to organize teams and workflows for high-complexity projects involving data, platforms, or observability.
  • Stakeholder Communication: Present program updates and strategic insights to senior leadership, ensuring transparency and alignment.

Here Is What You Need (Minimum Requirements):
  • Bachelor's degree or higher in technical discipline (computer science, engineering, etc.)
  • 4+ years (2+ years with MBA/MS) of experience in information technology, analytics, or related field
  • Minimum of 2 years managing agile projects and programs, with demonstrated performance that reflects readiness for advancement into managerial responsibilities.
  • Agile & Program Management: Proven ability to lead agile initiatives across multiple teams or business units, with a solid understanding of agile methodologies and delivery frameworks.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Demonstrated success in aligning stakeholders across business, finance, and technology domains to drive outcomes.
  • Technical Acumen: Familiarity with data governance principles, metadata management, and modern data platforms (e.g., Azure Data Factory, Snowflake, Collibra). Expertise in utilizing Everyday AI tools to build no-code solutions and bring efficiencies in repeated processes.
  • Leadership in Complexity: Capable of leading high-complexity programs using structured team organization and agile execution practices.
  • Stakeholder Engagement: Skilled in communicating with and managing expectations of diverse stakeholder groups, including senior leadership.
  • Strategic Thinking: Ability to make informed decisions that balance immediate operational needs with long-term strategic goals.

Bonus Points If You Have (Preferred Requirements):
  • Master's degree
  • Relevant pharmaceutical industry experience
  • Management consulting experience
  • Experience with Agile Software Delivery and/or Scrum Master Certification
  • Ability to mentor and guide other colleagues
  • Strong collaboration and team facilitation skills
  • Ability to analyze support trends and lead process improvements
  • Experience using common AI tools, including generative technologies such as ChatGPT or Microsoft Copilot, to support problem solving and enhance productivity. Demonstrated curiosity for exploring how these tools can improve outcomes and understanding of responsible AI practices, including risk management and ethical use

The annual base salary for this position ranges from $99,200.00 to $160,500.00.* In addition, this position is eligible for participation in Pfizer's Global Performance Plan with a bonus target of 12.5% of the base salary and eligibility to participate in our share based long term incentive program. * The annual base salary for this position in Tampa, FL ranges from $86,800.00 to $144,600.00.
