We are seeking a talented individual to join our Retirement team at Mercer. This role will be based near a Mercer office anywhere in the U.S. This is a hybrid role that has a requirement of working at least three days a week in the office.
As a Defined Contribution Consultant, you will support other Wealth colleagues and client managers who are working with clients that sponsor large defined contribution plans by designing customized solutions to meet their strategic needs.
You will assist Senior Consultants with day-to-day client contact and problem resolution and work on client projects that focus on delivering non-investment related services, including plan administration assistance, design projects, vendor searches, operational reviews, fee benchmarking, merger and acquisition consulting, etc. In this role, you should know how to do all client-related core projects and understand the details of the results, while simultaneously developing your consulting and sales skills. You may take on the lead role for some of the less complex clients while leading project planning for client relationships
We will count on you to:

What you need to have:
Bachelor’s degree
Minimum 10 years’ experience in benefits consulting with proven ability to sell and deliver retirement consulting services to senior business leaders
Experience in leading teams and training junior staff
Proven skills in leading complex projects and managing client expectations
Proven financial project management
Excellent analytical, writing, and presentation skills
Excellent time management, spreadsheet and communication skills
