Insights & Analytics
ZS's Insights & Analytics group partners with clients to design and deliver solutions to help them tackle a broad range of business challenges. Our teams work on multiple projects simultaneously, leveraging advanced data analytics and problem-solving techniques. Our recommendations and solutions are based on rigorous research and analysis underpinned by deep expertise and thought leadership.
What You'll Do

• Serve as a strategic thought partner to clients, translating complex biostatistical analyses into actionable business insights.
• Lead structured client engagements focused on solving data-intensive problems in clinical development, real-world evidence (RWE), and patient analytics.
• Assess client business needs and determine appropriate data sources (e.g., clinical trial, RWE, biological data) and statistical approaches to meet them.
• Design and execute analytic plans using SAS, R, or Python, including creation of SDTM/ADaM datasets, advanced modeling, and data harmonization strategies.
• Communicate results clearly and impactfully to senior client stakeholders, with emphasis on business implications over technical methodology.
• Develop expertise in client-specific data structures, internal processes, and industry standards (e.g., CDISC, FDA guidance).
• Build long-term client relationships through responsiveness, technical excellence, and structured communication.
• Mentor and lead junior team members in analysis execution and client delivery.

What You'll Bring

• MBA with a quantitative or technical background (e.g., Applied Mathematics, Statistics, Data Science, Engineering) or a PhD in a related discipline; alternatively, 5-8 years of biostatistics or clinical data science experience in lieu of advanced degree.
• Strong background in statistical programming (SAS, R, Python), with experience in clinical data analysis, SDTM/ADaM generation, or bioinformatics.
• Demonstrated experience delivering structured, client-ready outputs and presenting data-driven insights to non-technical stakeholders.
• Knowledge of real-world evidence (RWE), biological/clinical data reuse, and patient stratification modeling.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to lead client conversations and translate technical data into strategic recommendations.
• Proven ability to thrive in cross-functional teams and mentor junior staff.
• A quality-first, detail-oriented mindset with the flexibility to balance both strategy and execution.

Travel is a requirement at ZS for client facing ZSers; business needs of your project and client are the priority. While some projects may be local, all client-facing ZSers should be prepared to travel as needed.
