The Customer Operations team is looking for a Deal Desk Analyst to be our expert on deal policies, including contract terms, fallbacks, contract vehicles, financing terms, and product configurations. 

You'll be responsible for creating quotes, requesting pricing approval, and leading the terms and scope of various Mark43 deals. Your role is crucial in ensuring deal specifics align with Legal policies and broader company strategic goals. You'll play a key role in accelerating Mark43’s growth by maximizing deal speed and accuracy. Day-to-day, you'll generate quotes and pricing, update CRM records, consult with Sales and Account Managers on deal structure, move deals swiftly through the pipeline, and complete administrative processes associated with deal close and handover. 


What You'll Work On 

  • Manage and maintain Mark43 price lists across contract vehicles and SFDC 
  • Own and execute monthly compliance reporting requirements 
  • Partner with Sales, Ops, Account Management, Channel, and Finance across quote to cash process 
  • Partner with Sales, Account Management, Finance, and Legal to resolve issues related to order processing 
  • Identify and recommend resolutions for issues related to customer contracts and invoicing  
  • Provide field team with guidance and support around deal structuring and quote requests, from initial deal book creation through contract execution. 
  • Collect and maintain pricing data from historic sales proposals and quotes. 
  • Ensure compliance with Legal, Business, and Mark43 operational policies. 
  • Implement and maintain SOPs around standard processes 
  • Build tools and reference guides for field-guided selling 
  • Develop and report on deal metrics, identifying trends and enhancement opportunities 
  • Identify and lead projects to execution driving process improvements to expedite deal velocity.  
  • Be a critical enabler of deal formation and execution, focusing on minimizing sales cycle times   
  • Ability to develop relationships across various stakeholder groups including legal, sales operations, accounting, finance and product management to complete team objectives  
  • Establish and maintain approval matrix across all stakeholders and systems and streamline approval flows.   

 

What We're Looking For 

  • 2-5  years of experience in contract, orders administration, deal desk, sales, or sales operations preferred. 
  • Experience at a B2B SaaS company; government sales (B2G) experience preferred. 
  • Fluency in Confluence, Microsoft Office, Jira, CPQ, Salesforce, and Contract Management systems. Experience with multiple CPQ systems (Salesforce CPQ or similar) preferred. 
  • Meticulous project management and organizational skills. 
  • Empathy for users who may be unlike yourself. 
  • An open mind and a humble attitude. 
  • Ownership over your work and commitment to every part of a task, from big picture to small details. 
  • Self-motivated, detail-oriented, and committed to quality. 
  • Passion for supporting law enforcement, first responders, and other government agencies.
