VCU Health Supply Chain department is seeking a highly motivated, eager learning professional to join our team! Do you you have experience in Supply Chain Analytics?-Great! With the VCU Health Supply Chain department, you will work a skilled team to build data assets and visualizations to improve our overall efficiencies.
The Database Reporting Analyst job family is responsible for the reporting of operational, financial, clinical, and performance improvement data.

Experience REQUIRED:
Six to eight years of related experience
Applies extensive technical expertise in principle discipline and broad knowledge in related disciplines in revising or developing new methods and procedures.
High level knowledge of the system development life cycle, database management languages, relational databases, change management, and testing processes with a fundamental understanding of client-server architecture.
Approaches expert level on the business processes, workflow, and data model of at three major operational, financial, or clinical areas with broad knowledge of other major areas.
Expert knowledge of the interactions between all reporting, scheduling, and data movement applications with the ability to collaborate on design and development efforts with Architects and ETL developers.
Ability to make and coordinate modifications to existing functionality on all reporting platforms as well as the skill to troubleshoot as needed.
Demonstrated ability to have successfully completed multiple complex technical projects Strong written communication skills
Education/training REQUIRED:
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of related education and experience.
Basic knowledge of database monitoring and intermediate knowledge of SQL tuning tools and processes.
Intermediate level expertise in all major reporting platforms used by Enterprise Analytics. Intermediate to advanced knowledge of SQL

Utilizes considerable latitude in determining objectives of assignments and determining approaches to solutions with work performed from a long-term perspective and for achieving desired objectives.
