We're seeking an experienced Database Administrator to join our team. As a Database Administrator, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining our organization's databases.
Responsibilities
· Design, implement, and maintain databases to support business applications
· Ensure database security, integrity, and performance
· Develop and implement database backup and recovery strategies
· Collaborate with development teams to design and implement database schemas
· Troubleshoot and resolve database-related issues
· Stay up-to-date with emerging database technologies and trends
Skills Needed
· 3+ years of experience in database administration
· Strong knowledge of database management systems (Oracle, MySQL, Microsoft SQL Server)
· Experience with database design, development, and implementation
· Strong understanding of database security, backup, and recovery strategies
· Experience with database performance tuning and optimization
· Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
Qualifications
· Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field
· Certified Database Administrator (CDA) or related certification (optional)
· Proven experience in designing, implementing, and maintaining databases
· Strong understanding of database concepts and technologies
