KCC seeks a Risk Analyst to join our consulting team to connect clients to RiskInsight®, KCC’s catastrophe modeling platform. In this position, you will routinely conduct detailed analyses of client data and assist clients with establishing RiskInsight in their environments. You will also closely collaborate with the software development team to complete quality assurance reviews for new releases of RiskInsight. Additional responsibilities include giving presentations on KCC products to clients and prospects and working on custom consulting projects.

Responsibilities

  • Help gather client requirements for new engagements and determine how best to utilize RiskInsight® software to accomplish client's goals
  • Work with clients to set up RiskInsight® software in their environment
  • Run RiskInsight® software against client data and produce detailed results
  • Help analyze and summarize client data and results for use in client reports and presentations
  • Test new releases of RiskInsight® and ensure the software provides the desired results

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree – economics, engineering, or physics preferred
  • Experience in (or exposure to) using data-intensive computer models
  • Experience with Microsoft tools – PowerPoint, Excel, Word, SQL
  • Excellent problem solving and analytical skills
  • Strong writing and organizational skills
