Business Analyst
Reporting to a Senior Product Manager, the Business Analyst will play a key role in building out Bullhorn One’s application documentation, with special focus on enablement for services, support and SI partners. You will consult with internal and external stakeholders on business needs relating to Bullhorn One. You will leverage your analytical skills and strong knowledge of Bullhorn’s functions and processes to understand stakeholder requests and translate them into functional and technical enablement documentation, process flows and application documentation. You are flexible, collaborative, and a team player, and you are comfortable operating as a key liaison between stakeholders across the organization and the Bullhorn’s SI partners.

As Bullhorn One rapidly innovates with net new features, extends existing features and aggressively rolls out new clients, the need to have a robust enablement strategy backed by solid application documentation and process flows is key to our ability to scale. We’ve engaged a number of SI partners to support Bullhorn One’s upcoming go-lives and in order to ensure their success, must get them ramped up quickly.
The feedback loop is constant, real-time and comes in various forms and from various stakeholders, especially Bullhorn Services, Support and our various SI Partners. The ability to identify, synthesize, and prioritize the various feedback across multiple product lines and development work streams and turn into an enablement roadmap will be crucial to the overall program’s success.
As a Business Analyst, a typical day might include:
Proactively mining the various methods of feedback and input to identify the emerging needs for enablement documentation. This includes, but is not limited to, slack channels, monthly demos, deep-dive sessions, product generated documentation, support cases and trends, and Jira.
Analyzing the trends of feedback and making recommendations on product prioritization of features and defects.
Working with leaders from Sales, Marketing, Finance, Product, Support and Services to analyze their business and functional needs
Documenting the requirements and working with developers and subject matter experts in Pay Bill and Bullhorn Time & Expense to establish enablement artifacts that meet the stakeholder needs and help deliver it successfully
Establishing norms around documentation to ensure consistency & access to relevant documentation
Improving the information architecture of new and existing documentation so that information is easy to find
Managing expectations, proactively communicating any potential issues, and delivering great solutions across the organization.
This job might be for you if you have:
2+ years’ experience as a client- or stakeholder-facing analyst working through business needs
Demonstrated experience in Requirements Sourcing and Business Process Analysis
Good understanding of Systems Development Life Cycle (SDLC)
Ability to work on multiple projects working under tight timelines
Excellent prioritization skills and thrive in an ever-evolving environment
Experience working with cross functional teams, leading and following as and when needed
Excellent verbal and written communication skills, strong presentation skills
Passion/aptitude for problem solving and figuring out the right solution for a client
Strong customer focused attitude
Bonus points for:
A Bachelor’s degree, preferably in IS, MIS, Computer Science, or a related discipline
Knowledge of cloud or working in a SaaS environment
Experience with or knowledge of cloud-based quote-to-cash systems
Experience with or knowledge of sales, customer service, and/or billing & accounting business processes
