Data Syndication Specialist

The Data Syndication Specialist is a member of the RIVIR Support team, responsible for data integrity in both a proactive and reactive capacity. This role is responsible for the publication of product data and imagery via the GDSN to identified recipients. Included in this role are all aspects of data maintenance and syndication, along with system syndication management when recipient requirements change. This includes internal and external communication, and complete knowledge of GDSN syndication processes and requirements.

Main Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Minimum 2 years’ experience in Data Management or related; internship work considered.
  • Review and resolve concerns around products that fail automated recipient or GS1 syndication validations
  • Verify and assist with GLN registration (novel and transfer)
  • Assist RIVIR Onboarding Specialists with ad hoc concerns that arise with new members
  • Preparing products for publication to specified GDSN recipients – This may include review/entry of product data, association of imagery, and/or communication with a member to obtain missing required data points
  • Importation of specified products from IX-ONE to RIVIR
  • Ad hoc audits of specific member products, when requested by the member or the Sales team
  • Assistance and maintenance of products during one-off, unique projects
  • Cross-functional collaboration to meet members’ specific needs and/or concerns
  • Any other duties that may be required from time to time for the smooth running of the business

Salary Range: $50k/yr - $60k/yr
