We are seeking a Data / Solutions Architect to help design and guide modern data and application architectures supporting secure healthcare platforms and mission-driven analytics. In this role, you’ll work across engineering, product, and stakeholder teams to shape scalable technical solutions, evaluate architectural approaches, and ensure systems are built for performance, interoperability, and long-term sustainability within a regulated federal environment.
What You’ll Be Doing:
- Define and guide architecture for data platforms, analytics applications, and integrated healthcare systems
- Evaluate technical approaches through structured analysis and architecture reviews to support modernization initiatives
- Design scalable data architectures spanning cloud, legacy, and hybrid environments
- Collaborate with engineers and product teams to translate mission needs into technical designs and implementation strategies
- Establish architectural standards, reusable patterns, and integration approaches across data applications
- Support interoperability efforts leveraging APIs and healthcare data exchange standards
- Guide performance, scalability, and security considerations across data and application delivery
- Contribute to Agile planning, technical roadmaps, and cross-team architecture alignment
- Experience designing enterprise data or application architectures in complex environments
- Strong understanding of modern data platforms, cloud architectures, and integration patterns
- Familiarity with relational and distributed data systems (e.g., SQL Server, PostgreSQL, cloud data platforms, or similar)
- Experience supporting analytics or data-driven application ecosystems
- Understanding of healthcare or regulated data environments is a plus
- Exposure to interoperability standards such as FHIR, HL7, or API-driven integration is helpful
- Ability to communicate architectural concepts clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders
- Experience supporting federal programs or secure delivery environments is preferred
- Performs other related duties as assigned.
