Data Services Product Owner – Infomediary Data Solutions
Infomediary Data Solutions (IDS)is on a journey to bring to market a suite of modern data solutions designed to help leading global financial services firms – from asset managers to asset owners to asset servicers to fintech platforms -- get the most from their data. Our clients rely on IDS to help grow their businesses, streamline operations, enhance critical decision-making, and transform raw data into actionable insights across their operating model.
About the Role
We are seeking a Product Owner to lead the evolution from one-off data solutions into scalable, repeatable data products.
This role sits at the intersection of business, data, and technology, owning the product vision and roadmap for existing data use cases while continuously identifying new, high-value opportunities. The ideal candidate brings a product-over-projects mindset and is passionate about turning data into reusable, impactful solutions that drive decision-making and business outcomes.
This role is ideal for a hands-on product leader who understands the complexities of middle- and back-office investment operations and the underlying data flows that support them. Experience working at the intersection of product management, investment operations, and data solution design is strongly preferred. Familiarity with alternative assets, asset management workflows, and the realities of modern investment operations is a plus.
You will own the identification and prioritization of high-value problems and drive execution across a portfolio of data products that enhance efficiency, accuracy, and decision-making for asset managers across their operating model. You will be accountable for defining the problems to solve, developing the business case, and leading product delivery from concept through execution. This will be done in close partnership with Sales and Client Relationship teams to support active market engagement, as well with Technology counterparts to influence and align with the technical development roadmap.
Key Responsibilities
Product Ownership & Strategy
- Productize existing use cases into scalable, repeatable data products
- Partner with sales and RM teams in client meetings to conduct product demos and capture market feedback
- Prioritize and manage the product backlog, ensuring alignment with business objectives and market demands.
- Translate complex data challenges and regulatory requirements into clear, actionable product specifications
- Collaborate closely with internal stakeholders—including Sales, Relationship Management, InServ Strategy, Marketing—to design and execute effective Go-To-Market strategies
- Monitor market trends and competitive offerings to inform product strategy and prioritization
- Represent the firm at industry events and conferences.
Product Development & Execution
- Develop scalable, profitable, products that can easily be deployed to multiple clients across our chosen client segments
- Lead proof-of-concept initiatives and prototype development for MVP solutions
- Partner with product and systems teams define the reusable architecture for client implementations (e.g: ingestion, storage, alerting, reporting)
- Define the client operating guide for data products
- Collaborate with design, engineering, and marketing teams to bring products to market
- Lead prototyping, testing, and iteration to optimize product performance and user experience.
- Monitor key product metrics and leverage data-driven insights to refine and improve offerings.
- Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulatory requirements.
Qualifications & Experience
- 10+ years of experience in asset management or financial services.
- Strong understanding of the client operating model
- Experience in the Alts market (preferred).
- Direct product management/owner experience.
- Proven ability to build and scale data-centric products or platforms.
- Experience in agile development environments and cross-functional collaboration.
- Familiarity with Jira, Confluence, and Figma (a plus).
- Proficiency in SQL and reporting tools (a plus).
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Proven ability to build trusted and strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
Salary Range
$130,000 - $180,000
BBH and its affiliates' compensation program includes base salary, discretionary bonuses, and profit-sharing. The anticipated base salary range(s) shown above are only for the indicated location(s) and may differ in other locations due to cost of living and labor considerations. Base salaries may vary based on factors such as skill, experience and qualification for the role.
