Data Scientist (Traverse City, MI/Telecommute Opportunity) Plan, design, develop and deploy AI/ML and other data-driven predictive and prescriptive algorithms for collector vehicle auto insurance claims. Collaborate with engineering to embed algorithms into human and machine workflows. Write code to query, transform, combine, analyze, and visualize data and prepare it for productionalization by engineering teams, exhibiting strong aptitude in multiple languages; Follow best practices including debugging, versioning, documentation, and peer review. Design data and analytic solutions to solve ambiguous and hypothetical business problems of large scale and high complexity.
Minimum of a Master's degree in Data Science, Business Analytics, Computer Science or related field and 2 years of experience as a Data Scientist, Data Analyst or related occupation with statistical data modeling and analysis within the insurance industry required. Experience with SQL, Tableau, R & Python required. This role can be worked from any U.S. remote location.
