What you’ll do

You will play a crucial role on our Data Analytics team, focusing generating and automating metrics. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to source data, produce actionable insights, and create visualizations that help drive business decisions. This role requires a blend of technical prowess and strong analytical skills, along with the ability to work independently and proactively. Specifically, you will:

• Develop and automate key metrics to support business objectives and decision-making processes

• Source, clean, and integrate data from various internal and external sources

• Perform data analysis using statistical and machine learning techniques to uncover insights and trends

• Create and maintain dashboards and visualizations to communicate findings to stakeholders

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand their data needs and provide analytical support

• Write and maintain efficient, reusable, and reliable code in R and Python

• Document processes, methodologies, and code to ensure reproducibility and knowledge sharing

• Stay up to date with the latest trends and technologies in data science and analytics


What’s required

• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in data science, computer science, statistics, mathematics, or a related field.

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in a data science role or a similar position

• Proven track record of driving metrics generation and automation in a business environment

• Proficiency in R and Python for data analysis, statistical modeling, and machine learning

• Strong experience with data manipulation and analysis using libraries such as pandas, numpy, etc.

• Expertise in data visualization tools and libraries such as Tableau, Power BI, matplotlib, and seaborn

• Experience with SQL for data extraction and manipulation

• Familiarity with version control systems like GitHub

• Understanding of data warehousing concepts and experience with databases (e.g., MySQL, PostgreSQL)

• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to convey complex data insights to non-technical stakeholders

• Ability to source data effectively and produce actionable insights

The annual base salary range for this role is $180,000-$210,000 (USD) , which does not include discretionary bonus compensation or our comprehensive benefits package. Actual compensation offered to the successful candidate may vary from posted hiring range based upon geographic location, work experience, education, and/or skill level, among other things.
