As a Data Scientist Senior Associate, you will work with data scientists, quantitative analysts, and business leaders in the Chase Auto business to unlock the full power of data science in Automotive lending. This role will require working with senior stakeholders and clients in the automotive industry to uncover new insights and implement new analytical and data science solutions. This role will involve building effective, scalable, and modern analytical solutions for various banking domain problems and deploy them into production workflows. It is ideal for a data scientist seeking to build new solutions from inception to implementation

Job Responsibilities:
- Work directly with stakeholders across the Auto business to deliver data-driven insights to drive the strategy of the Auto business with data.
- Effectively translate complex analytical findings into clear, compelling presentations for diverse audiences to support data-driven decision making.
- Build dashboards and presentations to proactively address stakeholder business needs.
- Own and prioritize a book of work across descriptive, predictive, and prescriptive analytical opportunities.
- Conduct discovery analysis to identify opportunities for data to add value in the Chase auto business.
- Deliver on both recurring and ad-hoc analytical needs of business partners.
Required qualifications, capabilities and skills:
- 3+ years of experience in an analytical or quantitative role; experience working in the financial, consulting, automotive or technology industries is a plus
- Strong presentation, communication, and data visualization skills
- Proficient in SQL; ability to write queries optimally and familiarity with complex functions
- Experience using various data visualization (e.g., Tableau) and data wrangling tools and languages (e.g., Python, R, SQL, Alteryx)
- Ability to manage and prioritize a book of work in a fast-paced environment
