Position Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Data Scientist to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will support our marketing channels by measuring marketing effectiveness through Marketing Mix Modeling (MMM), setting up and measuring experiments, optimizing store operations, and conducting causal inference analyses. This role requires a strong analytical mindset, technical proficiency, and the ability to translate complex data into actionable insights.

Location: Wellesley, MA office - hybrid work schedule

Required Qualifications

  • 3+ years of experience in Marketing Mix Modeling (MMM) and marketing effectiveness measurement.

  • Expertise in designing, setting up, and measuring experiments to evaluate marketing strategies.

  • Strong understanding of store operations and the ability to optimize processes based on data-driven insights.

  • Proficiency in causal inference techniques to determine the impact of marketing activities.

  • Advanced knowledge of statistical analysis, machine learning, and data visualization tools.

  • Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, R, and SQL.

  • Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.

  • Strong communication skills to effectively present findings and recommendations to stakeholders.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with big data technologies and cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP).

  • Familiarity with data engineering practices and the ability to develop and maintain data pipelines.

  • Knowledge of marketing analytics tools and platforms.

  • Experience in the healthcare industry or related fields.

  • Ability to think from a stakeholder and business perspective to align data science projects with organizational goals.

Education

  • Master’s degree in Data Science, Statistics, Computer Science, or a related field.

Pay Range

The typical pay range for this role is:

$86,520.00 - $173,040.00

This pay range represents the base hourly rate or base annual full-time salary for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls.  The actual base salary offer will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education, geography and other relevant factors.  This position is eligible for a CVS Health bonus, commission or short-term incentive program in addition to the base pay range listed above.
