As a Data Scientist II, you'll provide data-driven insights, ensure data integrity, analyze data, build predictive models, and collaborate with cross-functional teams.

You are a motivated Data Scientist who is passionate about driving results and has a creative approach to solving problems.The candidate will be responsible for providing support to the organization with data-driven insights using advanced statistical and modeling techniques. In addition to model development, you will also be responsible for communicating, documenting, and monitoring preexisting models.
What You'll Do
- Assure the integrity of project data, including data extraction, storage, manipulation, processing, and analysis.
- Analyze data with standard statistical methods, interpret the results, and provide both written and verbal summaries and recommendations.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify opportunities, design solutions, and implement initiatives that enhance production pipeline efficiency.
- Contribute in a dynamic, team-oriented environment that values your perspective, supports your growth, and encourages innovation
What You'll Need
- 2+ years of hands-on experience in data science, with a strong preference for candidates with a background in the FinTech or financial services industry.
- Advanced degree (master’s or PhD) in Statistics, Mathematics, Data Science, Business Analytics, Operations Research, Economics or a related quantitative field
- Proficiency in statistical modeling and data analysis using R or Python, with solid experience working with large datasets and writing complex SQL queries.
- Experience with building predictive models using statistical/machine learning techniques
- Ability to collaborate with cross-functional departments including Sales, Sales Ops, Product, Marketing, Credit etc. to understand business context and solve problems
- A self-starter mindset with strong organizational skills, capable of managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
- Proficiency with data visualization tools such as Power BI or Tableau is a plus
- Experience working in Databricks or similar cloud-based analytics environments is a plus
- Strong verbal / written communication skills
