We are seeking a highly skilled and collaborative Data Scientist to join our team and lead the development of series of customized GenAI solutions. This role will focus on building scalable, production-grade systems using Python and modern frameworks, with a strong emphasis on generative AI applications such as information retrieval, AI assisted websearch, Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG). The ideal candidate will thrive in a dynamic, agile environment and be comfortable working consultatively with stakeholders to clarify requirements and present results.
Required Qualifications
- 1-3 years of coding experience (Preferably Python and vibe coding)
- 1-3 years of experience in backend systems (FastAPI experience is a plus)
- Proven track record of building and deploying GenAI solutions (e.g., RAG pipelines, agent-based systems)
- Hands-on experience with GenAI frameworks such as LangChain, LangGraph, or similar
- Experience working in cloud environments such as GCP, Azure, or AWS
- Strong team player with excellent collaboration skills in agile settings
- Ability to work consultatively with junior stakeholders, clarify needs, and communicate technical concepts effectively
Preferred Qualifications
- Familiarity with healthcare (Payor/ PBM) domains
- Experience with Formulary
- Experience integrating GenAI solutions into enterprise workflows
- Exposure to MLOps practices and tools (Jenkins, Docker, etc.)
Education
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience in Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Science, Business Analytics, Economics, Physics, Engineering, or related discipline.
- Master's degree preferred

The typical pay range for this role is:
$86,520.00 - $173,040.00This pay range represents the base hourly rate or base annual full-time salary for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls. The actual base salary offer will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education, geography and other relevant factors. This position is eligible for a CVS Health bonus, commission or short-term incentive program in addition to the base pay range listed above.
