Veriswap is a barter marketplace for trading cards, operating within the $10B+ sports card secondary market. We’re focused on creating a new swap economy because we believe the swaps market is 5x larger than the cash sales market for collectibles. Our mission is to empower collectors by enabling them to trade sports cards anytime, anywhere.

We’ve completed over $120M in transactions in just 3 years, with trades as large as $300K on the platform. We serve 100,000 users and the trading card market is at all-time highs, with $400M+ of cards sold in the last month.

Requirements

Must Haves

  • Deep knowledge of SQL
  • Basic understanding of experimentation (A/B & Multivariate testing)
  • Familiarity with key business metrics including LTV, churn, activation, and retention
  • Strong quantitative academic background
  • Experience using SQL Query Editors and Database Management Tools

Nice to haves

  • Experience with analytics platforms (i.e. Amplitude, Mixpanel, etc)
  • Experience with experimentation platforms (i.e. Optimizely, Looker)
  • Experience working with consumer apps
  • Experience working at startup
  • Experience working cross-functionally with Product, Design, Marketing & Ops

Day-to-Day Responsibilities:

  • Execute queries, analyze data, and make recommendations based on observations
    • Analyzing user behavior
    • Analyzing product behavior
    • Analyzing operation / logistical metrics
  • Validate SQL query results against product analytics tools to ensure data quality
  • Suggest new metrics to gain insights on user behavior
