TITLE: Data Operations Associate
LOCATION: New York City or Jacksonville, FL (hybrid)
SALARY: $85,000 - $110,000 base salary + bonus (based on NYC, will be adjusted for geo)
The Role:
The Data Operations Associate will work closely with our offshore teammates, onshore teammates and clients to take charge of complex processes impacting Canoe's ability to efficiently collect data to drive our ever-expanding Collective Intelligence, and ultimately deliver high quality services for some of our most complex clients, empowering them to get the most value out of Canoe's offering.
What You'll Do:
- Create excellent recurring regular reporting aimed at providing process and project status updates including timing, capacity, and milestones to various internal stakeholders.
- Produce and maintain robust process documentation and workflow diagrams
- Help direct and manage a global team
- Lead efforts to document, test, measure, execute, and improve on existing processes
- Assist in implementing and monitoring new operational process changes.
- Manage multiple projects with competing priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Collaborate cross-functionally with Client Success and Commercial teams to operationalize and standardize client-specific data management requests.
- Collaborate with the Product team to develop long-term, robust software solutions to manual operations challenges
What We're Looking For:
- 4+ years of professional experience involving analyzing, reconciling large data sets to make data driven recommendations.
- Proven track record communicating to clients and/or external stakeholders of various levels of seniority.
- Ability to easily adapt to changing priorities and lead mission critical long-term initiatives across multiple cross-functional teams
- Quick to learn, grasp new concepts and client-specific nuances
- Strong project management and communication skills combined with strong attention to detail
- Experience directing and managing teammates working in various locations and time zones.
- Prior experience in automating and scaling manual processes in an ultra-high growth environment.
- Prior experience in Business Operations, Business Intelligence or Professional Services at a fintech startup.
- Proficiency in Excel/Google Sheets and SQL required.
