About the Role 

MoeGo is seeking a Data Migration Program Manager to lead end-to-end data migration projects, ensuring accuracy, completeness, and timely delivery of customer data into MoeGo.

The goal: seamless full data migrations, enabling the Onboarding Success (OBS) team to deliver an exceptional customer onboarding experience.

This is a hybrid role with working hours more aligned with the overseas team timezone, afternoon/evening hours (PST), ideal for managing a distributed team and collaborating with US-based stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:

Job Description

As the Data Migration (DM) Program Manager, you will be responsible for driving the end-to-end execution and evolution of our data migration processes. You will collaborate cross-functionally with Product, Engineering, Post-Sale, and Data stakeholders to ensure customer data is transitioned accurately, securely, and efficiently from legacy systems into our platform. You will define and maintain best practices, manage the DM team’s operational pipeline, and own continuous improvements to tooling and process standardization.

  • Program Ownership:

    • Own and drive the full DM pipeline across all source platforms and customer tiers.

    • Define, track, and improve key success metrics including import success rate, time-to-import, and data quality score.

  • Process & Workflow Design:

    • Design and evolve standardized DM workflows from scoping to QA to post-import support.

    • Lead efforts to templatize tools, SOPs, and QA scripts to improve speed and reduce errors.

  • Team Leadership & Scaling:

    • Define tiered roles (Specialist, DME, Sr. DME, SWE) and responsibilities across the team.

    • Coach and mentor team members and help scale capacity through delegation, playbooks, and tooling.

  • Cross-Functional Partnership:

    • Collaborate with Sales and Post-Sale to scope DM feasibility and timelines.

    • Work closely with Engineering to improve tooling, automate steps, and reduce system-level errors.

  • Risk Management & Continuous Improvement:

    • Identify root causes of data quality and import issues; drive resolution plans.

    • Anticipate risks in production imports and ensure proper pre-checks and staging.

Qualifications:

  • Fluent in Mandarin and English (written & spoken)

  • 4-6 years of experience in data operations, implementation, technical project management, or related field.

  • Strong analytical, communication, and project management skills.

  • Ability to manage ambiguity and navigate technical and business tradeoffs.

  • Hands-on SQL and/or data QA experience is a plus.

  • Fast pace SaaS startup experience preferred
