Join a data products organization delivering a next-generation HR data platform that enables secure, scalable access to workforce data. The team builds platform capabilities that support self-service analytics, metadata and governance, data quality, and controlled data consumption. You will partner with senior platform leaders and cross-functional stakeholders to deliver measurable improvements across onboarding, governance, and operations. This role blends delivery leadership with hands-on business analysis in a large enterprise environment.

As a Vice President in the HR and Employee Experience Data Products organization, you will support the delivery and evolution of the organization’s next-generation HR data platform. You will partner closely with senior platform leadership to execute strategic initiatives focused on secure data access, self-service analytics, metadata and governance capabilities, data quality, and scalable HR data solutions. You will operate as a hands-on delivery lead and technical business analyst, translating business requirements into platform capabilities while supporting day-to-day execution and delivery activities. You will work across HR, Technology, Data Governance, Privacy, Controls, and Engineering teams to drive platform enhancements across onboarding, governance, analytics, entitlements, metadata, and operational processes.

Job responsibilities

 - Support execution and delivery of strategic HR data platform initiatives with Product Directors, Product Owners, Engineering, and Data Governance stakeholders
- Gather and refine business and functional requirements for HR data products, platform capabilities, and data governance solutions
 - Translate business needs into scalable technical solutions and actionable delivery plans with business users, analysts, engineers, and product teams
 - Implement and enhance self-service HR data consumption capabilities and modernized data access patterns
 - Execute data onboarding activities including source analysis, mapping, metadata capture, data profiling, lineage documentation, and validation
 - Contribute to access governance processes including HR data entitlements, access controls, and data usage controls
 - Drive metadata management activities including cataloging, glossary alignment, lineage documentation, and data classification across HR datasets
 - Implement and monitor business data quality processes, controls, validation rules, and remediation workflows
 - Investigate data quality issues and platform incidents by performing data analysis and root-cause assessment, including downstream consumer impacts
 - Coordinate testing and release support including user acceptance testing coordination, defect tracking, regression validation, and release readiness
 - Create delivery artifacts such as process flows, user stories, acceptance criteria, standard operating procedures, governance documentation, runbooks, and executive-ready status reporting
 

Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills

 - Five or more years of experience delivering data, analytics, technology, or platform initiatives in complex enterprise environments
 - Demonstrated business analysis skills, including requirements gathering, process mapping, stakeholder interviews, user story creation, and documentation management
 - Hands-on experience working with data platforms, analytics environments, or enterprise data ecosystems
 - Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to investigate data issues, analyze datasets, and identify process improvements
 - Experience supporting agile delivery models and partnering closely with Product Owners, Engineering teams, and business stakeholders
 - Familiarity with modern cloud and data platform ecosystems such as Databricks, Snowflake, Microsoft Fabric, or Amazon Web Services analytics services
 - Understanding of metadata management, data governance, lineage, entitlements, data access controls, and data quality concepts
 - Working knowledge of SQL and data analysis tools for validation, reconciliation, and operational support activities
 - Ability to communicate effectively across technical and non-technical audiences
 - Strong organizational skills with ability to manage multiple initiatives and priorities simultaneously
 - Experience working in regulated or control-focused environments with emphasis on governance, risk, and compliance

Preferred Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills

 - Experience supporting HR, workforce, finance, or enterprise data domains and familiarity with governance and entitlements platforms such as Immuta, Privacera, or Unity Catalog
 - Exposure to metadata and catalog platforms, data quality tooling, and workflow automation solutions
 - Experience supporting large-scale data onboarding, migration, or modernization initiatives
 - Exposure to AI and machine learning-enabled analytics environments, notebook tooling, or self-service analytics platforms
 - Understanding of enterprise data lifecycle management, operational controls, and data privacy considerations
 - Prior experience acting as a liaison between business stakeholders and technical engineering teams
