Flume Health is seeking a Data Integration Engineer to join our growing company! We are seeking a dynamic individual with a robust background in the healthcare payer space to support our account implementations and help advance our leading data integration platform. This role offers a unique opportunity to not only delve deep into supporting more seamless administration of health benefits but also collaborate closely with our innovative product team focused on solving the industry’s complex data challenges.
What You’ll Do- Develop documentation for new data exchanges and features needed for client implementation.
- Map data fields between external specifications and Flume's canonical model.
- Oversee end-to-end integrations, including scoping, testing, and deployment to clients.
- Collaborate with the technology team to develop feature requirements and solutions.
- Ensure the technical solutions meet customer expectations and business requirements.
- Design and refine processes to enhance team efficiency and effectiveness.
- Communicate complex technical issues to clients using clear, non-technical language.
- Act as a Flume product and technology advocate with customers and vendors, guiding them through Flume Relay and integration processes.
- Minimum of 3 years' experience in a healthcare payer setting or similar, with a focus on data analytics or project management.
- SQL proficiency.
- Python proficiency.
- Ability to navigate complex problems and drive high-quality and innovative technical solutions.
- Experience in managing tight deadlines and facilitating consensus among diverse stakeholders, both internal and external.
- Self-starter, comfortable following direction, with the ability to prioritize and manage work under changing deadlines.
- Experienced in data mapping, transformation, and analysis within the healthcare sector.
- Proficient in eliciting, documenting, and managing both business and functional requirements.
- Exceptional communication skills, clearly articulating issues to both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Highly organized with demonstrated ability to handle multiple priorities simultaneously.
- Preferred:
- Experience with agile development methodologies.
- Demonstrated ability in data integrity testing, auditing, and QA.
- Ability to independently review and validate large data sets.
Salary: $100k - $120k
